They wanted $125 for our bridesmaids bouquets too..I ordered them from The Perfect Gift and I think it was $75 for 3. I also ordered the additional stems for decorating the Palo table. They delivered them right to the ship for me!

Thanks for the advice. I was under the impression that we were not allowed to bring our own flowers on board. How does this work? 25$ per bouquet is much better than 125.

I'm doing silk flowers for everyone except me and DF. I agree with you lexis, they're charging 3500 for the CC wedding and then want a lot extra for the flowers-no way! My silk ones look awesome and for all 4 guys (2 dads + 2 groomsmen), maid of honor, and 2 moms was only about $20!

This is what I was told as well, I can only bring silk flowers onboard. Disney must provide all fresh flowers now.

They have a new option too for flowers. It's a "small clutch bouquet" but it's still expensive- $53 for a few roses. Look at Michael's. Some of they're flowers look really good and, like for my FMIL (who will undoubtedly keep her corsage) it doesn't need to be preserved-it will look good forever with a little dusting!

well..they are delivered to your stateroom..so I don't know how they can stop it. I know they don't put them in a cooler like they did mine, but if you had your ceremony the next day like I did, they would be fine in your inroom cooler

Perfect Gift delivers baskets and floral to numerous people on the ship each week..I am sure Disney is trying to get you to buy theirs (of course) but other than not allowing you to cool them..how could they know?

oh..but if you DID want to do silk..I remade my bouquet when I came home..it sits on my mantle and I love it!

I have my bouquet from my wedding still, it was also silk.

Our renewal is Monday so I was going to see about getting some flowers in Key West.

I only need one for Amanda and now they have the small clutch for $53 which isn't too bad. Then I ordered the rose wand for Emmie.

I really liked the flower lei's, but they are so crazy expensive, I thought I could find them for less off the ship but I guess that won't happen now.

I did pay Disney for my mother's corsage just because I wanted to make sure it matched the orchids in my bouquet..I think I paid $20 for it but they didn't offer floral "enhancements" for my ceremony..I didn't want a plain table in the private room at Palo so I had hydrangeas and roses sent with 2 glass cubes..I was thrilled with the result and also that Marco (the manager in Palo) remembered us from our previous cruises and really helped us with the decor

I thought the floral was rather expensive for bridesmaid bouquets so I didn't do any of them...here is what I did...

Mickey Crystals for my bouquet
6 Orange Rose Boutonnieres
3 Orange Rose Wands for bridesmaids
2 Ivory Corsages for the Moms
Small Bag of Rose Petals
Magnets for all of the boutonnieres
Palm and Shell Aisle Decor

All of that came out to be $422.67. I was going to do silk for everything but I didn't want to have to carry another thing on board and I was so worried things would not match. As soon as I get my pictures back (hopefully this weekend) I will start my TR. I can't wait to share it all!

I brought the dress into Alfred Angelo a couple weeks ago for them to clean it for me. They have to take it out on the top a bit ( Yes I am bigger than Manda in that Department ) Other than that it fit well. It's so perfect for a cruise renewal/wedding.

So I have 11 confirmed room reservations with deposits for my wedding. All of these rooms have room numbers and reservations numbers. We have fully paid for our wedding and room but we do not have a room number. Disney told me we will have a room number soon. Is this what happens when you get upgraded?

I don't know about being upgraded but they may be trying to get you all as close as they can..which would mean moving people around (usually, you can pick your room # when you book)

Ok thanks I was just surprised that everyone has a room number but us. I do not really care what type of room we are in, since we have been on a couple cruises we just do inside rooms seeing as how we are never in our room except to sleep.

Did you book a GTY room? That is usually a better chance of getting upgraded to the next category then if you picked the room...

We got upgraded from an inside to a veranda room but it wasn't from Disney really..my travel agent was watching the Florida Resident special and the Cat 6 came up on sale for less than our inside room..so she switched us AND we got a refund! LOL

It was the ONLY thing she did right the entire time I have known her..but that is ANOTHER story..LOL

We requested a bottom of the line inside state room, the cheapest available. This is the same room that most of our guests are getting. I want to say it is category 11a. Currently we have guests on deck 6,7,and 8. In rooms ranging from inside staterooms to concierge verandas. I have confirmed room numbers for 25 guests but the two of us don't have one. I did check prices online and the rooms have gone up in price so I doubt we will get an upgrade. You are probably right and Disney is just waiting to find us a room central to everyone.

I have been so busy with the holidays and getting back to work I have not been on here much but wanted to say the wedding was everything we could have dreamed of, and more! I get our Magic Kingdom photos back this week...cannot wait to look at them as I was a bit disappointed with Disney photography as I felt my creativity was not really encouraged...thank goodness I brought Mikkel to photograph our wedding!

I brought silk flowers for both my wedding party and a bouquet made (in pic) for me to have for our Magic Kingdom shoot...the silks are amazing and I am looking for a vase now to keep it over my fireplace on the mantel

The first night on the ship and my Uncle and Father wore their shirts ALL day! I had them made on Vistaprint, for free

I ordered this shirt on Amazon for DH to give to him at the rehearsal dinner! LOL

More pics/info will be on my PJ when I get a chance...just wanted to confirm Disney did it right for our wedding!!!!! Castaway was gorgeous btw...we loved the beautiful water and the pics are amazing with the ship in the back!

I am glad to be back...so much to do around here lol I also had to have a minor surgery to have abnormal beauty marks removed to prevent skin cancer so I am dealing with the aftermath of that...blah! I feel OK please everyone get checked by your dermatologists, could be scary stuff if you don't take care of it early

I have loved looking through the pics from my camera (a fellow dis'er videoed for us, I STILL have to check out the video but it looks great!) and I have over 2K photos Rob and I took!!!

I cannot believe the wedding/honeymoon is over though, now I have to figure out what to do for our one year...I am pushing for Aulani!!!!! LOL

Thank you! I did have the salon do my hair and my sister did my make up for me....
