DISNEY COLLEGE PROGRAM - A Spring 2013 Adventure! *COMPLETE* 11/20

Was looking at the Blurb website and it would probably work for you! You could just upload the pictures if their saved on your computer, and then copy and paste the text into the book. Not that you have a lot of free time right now, but it wouldn't take too long. You could practice with your new years tr since that one is shorter.
Love how we're getting these updates literally right after they happen!

I can’t get over how the “lost long friends” have to hold up signs saying who they are. Why don’t people know their names? -_-

I LOVE your dress, Jess!

Be Our Guest is like the most amazing restaurant. GAHH I love it so much!

Oh wow. I didn’t realize that the room where you order for lunch is the room you can meet the Beast in at dinner! It’s very pretty in there.

That chocolate cream puff is SO good. NOMS.

The west wing looks incredible. And so does the rose gallery. The artwork in there is great!

Ok, really Rapunzel?! Out of character? ):

Oh, Gaston :rotfl:

How cute is your dress!? I love stripes.

The Long Lost Friends was such an awesome idea for Limited Time Magic. I'm glad you got to meet them all. I hope they do it again with another group of characters.

Super cute characters! I've been dying to know who mark would be friends with!

You're making so many lifetime memories!

I understand that it is a BIG DEAL for Walt Disney World Cast Members to receive recognition from Guests for providing GREAT service.:)

So,if you will be staying at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort and, while there, you receive GREAT service from a certain Disney College Program Concierge Cast Member, please take time to notify Management of said GREAT service.:)

We all know how MAGICAL Jess' love for the Walt Disney World Resort is,as evidenced by her amazing Trip Reports,so I think it would be awesome if she receives a lot of well-deserved recognition as she provides GREAT service to Guests at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort.:)

Here is a link to some info on ways Guests can notify Management when they receive GREAT service from a Cast Member.:)

all those updates made me so relaxed and happy.
i love meeting characters and having the photographic memories. The three little pigs!!! They are so cute. And I want to meet Gaston and hear him brag about being the best at everything.
I didn't even realize that the Beauty and the Beast restaurant would be somewhat casual. The food looks very good. And like many people I have dreamed about being in that ballroom!! Can't wait to see it.
It looks like you are already having an amazing time and making some great friends with the DCP.

Just finished reading through all this instead of writing a paper. :rotfl: Subbing! Sounds like you are having a blast!

Your DCP sounds like it has been amazing so far Jess! I loved hearing about Traditions and getting your name tag and finally being a CM! I mean, seriously, you are living my dream! It is so fantastic to be able to read about everything here and on Twitter!

Your roommates are adorable, I'm so glad you get along with them! And it sounds like everyone gets along with Mark and his roommates as well, you already have a little instant family down there! :goodvibes

OMG so many Long Lost Characters, that is the week I was hoping to get, but they did it 3 weeks early! I'm bummed I'm coming right after Valentine's Day too, because that week looks like it will be fun! I can't believe Rapunzel talked to you guys out of character, I thought they weren't allowed to do that! :scared1: That makes me so sad!

Glad you're having a great time! Good luck tomorrow! :wizard:

Thank you for posting that link. We had a really great experience with an Ariel at Akershus last May. I obviously do not know her real name, but I can look up my ADR time and I have pictures. Hopefully they will be able to track her down with that information and commend her. My dd was absolutely enamored by her.

Hey it was so nice to meet you the other day! I am glad the pictures turned out well! It looks like the rest of your day was great as well. I had such a grat time talking to the three of you! I would love to meet up with and possibly go to a park if you are intersted! :goodvibes

January 28th, 2013 - Dis-Meet and Olivia's Cafe

This morning I woke up around 9 am. I was just lounging around a lot and then finally forced myself to get ready. Everyone else was working today so I texted Theresa to see if it was alright if I could join her! We had to rush off yesterday so this was the perfect day to make up for lost time!

I made my way over to Epcot and went to Future World.

I met Theresa and her husband by THE BEAUTIFUL FOUNTAIN ON NATIONS.

MY FOUNTAIN!!

We met up and Theresa suggested we should go to the Maelstrom! How appropriately frumpy!

It was a walk-on, which was wonderful. BACK, BACK, OVER THE FALLS!

Then we went back to Mexico and rode the Gran Fiesta Tour!

After that we were getting hungry. We started heading towards Morocco but they closed the bridge to load in the IllumiNations equipment. So we turned around and walked the other way.

We had to stop and take a deer face picture with Norman Junior, though!

Finally we got to Morocco. Theresas husband didnt want food from that pavilion, so he went to the American Adventure to eat.

At Tangerine Café we both got the combo platter with the chicken and the lamb. It came with hummus, Moroccan bread, tabouleh, and cous cous. I have never eaten in Morocco before but it was good! My favorite parts were the hummus, the bread, and the chicken.

After that, we all met back up and explored Morroco for a little while.

Then we just walked through all of the countries until we got to Norway. DESSERT TIME!

Theresa has NEVER had school bread before so we had to fix this problem. She tried it today and absolutely LOVED it! YAY FOR ANOTHER SCHOOL BREAD FAN!

I was going to get school bread but the cream puff has been on my list for so long that it was calling my name. It was delicious and the fruit was definitely the best part!

After that we left World Showcase and went to Spaceship Earth! Theresa and I rode together! This ride was making me so sleepy today! It was just so relaxing.

We got stopped while making our futures, but thankfully the video played before we made it back to earth.

Then we headed towards the park exit and Daisy just wandered outside! We had to take one last picture!

We left the park and said our goodbyes. It was really nice meeting up and spending some time together! It worked out that I had this free day!

From there I went over to Downtown Disney just to look around. I wandered through the pin store and Tren-D. Then at World of Disney I got a new princess wallet, an Aladdin and Jasmine music box, and a dole whip shirt!

Then I headed home and all of the sudden it was 8 pm. Mark came bursting through the door and asked if I wanted to go to dinner because he was starving and didn't feel like cooking. Obviously, that answer was yes.

We felt like going to a resort so I thought of going to Olivia's Cafe at Old Key West!

We walked right up and we were seated immediately. That restaurant is such a hidden gem because you can be seated without a reservation but it's a table service with delicious food!

We were seated in the middle of the restaurant and our waitress was SO nice. We absolutely loved her. She was just so sweet and she took the time to really talk to us.

We started off with the pineapple coconut bread which was AMAZING.

img7989q.jpg

Then Mark got a chocolate milkshake. He deserved it after his first day of training!

img7987x.jpg

For dinner I got the turkey sandwich and fruit. It was a nice and healthy dinner, which is always a good thing!

img7991fs.jpg

Mark got the strip steak which he REALLY liked. He kept saying how good it was.

For dessert Mark got the Marscapone Cheesecake with a caramel and sea salt topping. I had one bite and it was REALLY delicious!

After we ate, we went into the gift shop and looked at the raft with all of the pins on it. There were actually some really good ones!

We came back to the apartments and I typed up the rest of the update. I HAVE MY FIRST DAY OF TRAINING TOMORROW OH MY GOD. I have to be there at 8:30 am tomorrow! Wish me luck!
