DISing Weightloss Club

I was out later than normal today at an appointment and was very hungry when I left. I was very tempted to stop and get fast food but did not!:thumbsup2 I know I can get healthy choices at the drive through but I also know my will power wouldn't be strong enough and I'd end up with a spicy chicken sandwich from Wendy's! So, I made it home and cooked a personal size frozen pizza. Probably not the best choice but I needed something quick. :)

Well today was a soso day. Tomorrow will have to be better.

Sounds like everyone is doing ok with at least being conscious of their food choices, sometimes that is the best way to start. You couldn't resist the cookie/pretzel/reeses...whatever, but at least you thought about it after, maybe next time it's tempting you it'll be a little different? less tempting?

I agree that sundays are the worst, and we still have easter candy in the house too, I need to 'clean house' and get rid of all the 'crap' food. I hate throwing food away, but I figure it's going to go to waste on my waist or it can go to waste in the garbage...I choose the garbage! :rotfl:

I also have a hard time in the mornings, I leave the house so early I don't eat breakfast...so I get to work and the vending machine or bookstore (I work at a college) call me with their junk food.... today I brought in my own cereal (special K vanilla almond...yumm!) and skim milk...I'm starting the day off right.

I feel like a stranger on here..lol..By the time I get home I am so exhausted I barely have time to eat dinner before going to bed for the next day! But I am actually off two days this week. I have unfortunately not been eating as many veggies as I am supposed to or fruits so I need to get back on this strict diet I had myself on before I cry..lol..I am glad to hear everyone else is doing good!

Mine too! I only really like a few fruits but don't always have them on hand. I like certain vegetables but rarely cook them as noone else will eat them. Going to grocerty store today though - maybe I can find something for myself.

Not big fruit and veggie person either. Just don't really like the texture of most of them. Definately makes trying to lose weight harder. I just force myself to eat salads and a few fruits that I can tolerate.
 
Hey everyone. I want to apologize for not being around much lately. I have so much going on in my life right now and my stress level continues to go up! My youngest son has medical issues and I feel that I really need to focus on that right now (I'm actually considering withdrawing from school right now to just focus on him). I don't want to leave you all hanging so I was wondering if someone could take over the list on the main page? I know you can't edit my post, but maybe someone who posted on the first page could start and maintain the list? Or you could start a new thread. I just know that I can't fully commit at this time. I'm sorry to do this to you all! I wish everyone the best of luck in reaching your goals :hug:

And if I had more time to commit I would take it over, but I am super busy as well and only on late at night anymore or on my off days! I wish you the best of luck! I think maybe we need to start a new tread. I am not on the first page but could probably be able to update on Fridays. (while my little one is sleeping) What do you think all? Should we start new or just keep going and see if we can figure it out??
 
Dieting is not working today for me..lol...Wednesdays are my downfall with the 19 month old running around eating snacks here and there!!

As for the post I believe it would probably be easier to start a new one but then we lose all the things we have here! So I am not sure :confused3 I love this group so i don't want to see it go!!

You could always put a link to this thread in the first post of the new thread. That way you'll still be able to find it easily.
 
Carissa - I'm so sorry to hear about all you are dealing with. :hug: I hope you'll still come visit with us whenever you get a chance.

I too think we need to start a new thread (and adding a link to this is a good idea too). Who wants to do it? Wirki - are you up for it? I don't mind doing it either except that I will be leaving this Friday for a long weekend trip. Let's not let this thread die - I really need to be accountable! :)

Hi everyone I'm not sure what is going on with my body. I've done everything on plan and yet I'm up 1.5 pounds. This is really starting to get depressing.
