Hi everyone I'm not sure what is going on with my body. I've done everything on plan and yet I'm up 1.5 pounds. This is really starting to get depressing.

Hope everyone else is doing great and having tons of success !

Don't get down! The 1.5 could be water weight or you could be building up muscle. Don't forget that your weight fluctuates from day to day and even during the day. Just keep eating those fruits and veggies and working out and you will see a weight loss eventually. :thumbsup2

I got called in to work this morning as the person scheduled called in sick. Well I didn't have a car available so I decided to walk. According to my ipod Nike sensor I walked off 507 calories. :woohoo: That is real motivation to get out and walk more.

I've been wanting one of the ipod sensors however do you need to have the Nike's to go with them?:confused3

I have the Nike's that go with the sensor. I have however heard about people finding a way to use the sensor without buying the special shoes. I am sure if you googled it you could find out. I just went with the Nike's though as I needed a new pair of runners and they were no more expensive than the other shoes I was looking at and I liked the look and fit of them. Word of warning though, don't wear your shoes with the sensor in them to the airport. I did that in July and Security took them for special screening because I guess the sensor set of a warning as being suspicious. :confused3
 
I did my weigh-in today since I'll be out of town tomorrow through Sunday.
The scale read 185!!! That is down 4 lbs from last week and a net loss of 5 lbs! I was really surprised. I've really been watching what I eat except for the Reeses incident so I guess its paid off.

It is sort of like a pedometer. There is a sensor that you put in your shoe (Nike's have a special slot for them, and then a small receiver that you plug into the bottom of your ipod. The first time you use it you enter your weight into the ipod and then you walk for 1 minute at your normal pace and then run for one minute at your normal pace in order to calibrate it for more accurate results.

After that you would just select the Nike feature on your ipod whenever you go out for a walk or run. The sensor sends your speed, distance and the time spent to your ipod. When the workout is done the ipod takes that information and calculates calories burned based on that and your weight.

When I get home from work today I will take a picture of the sensor and the ipod so you all can see what it looks like. I really like it and I think it will be a great tool in my goal to start jogging again.

Okay, so here is the sensor inside the shoe. In order to have the indent for the sensor you need to make sure that you are getting a Nike+ shoe as not all of them have it, at least that is how it was a year ago when I bought these shoes. When you first get the shoe there is a little plastic insert where the sensor goes. The hole for the sensor is below the insole so you need to lift that out in order to put the sensor in.

Here is the shoe with the insole back in. You can't even tell that there is a sensor in there, it is that well cushioned. (Note the shoes are lime green, I am so addicted to the Dis that I unintentionally buy lime green products) :rotfl:

This is my nano with the receiver attached, it really is very small, just looks big because I really zoomed in on it.

And here is the results screen after you finish your workout. It is kinda blurry but you get the general idea.

Anyways, I think this is a really great product and it helps me keep my speed up while out walking because the screen will always display your current pace and how long you have been out there and the distance you have traveled.

I just ate a slice of pie the night before I'm to weigh in. D'oh! Better start drinking water!
 
I wanted to do my weigh in real quick before I head off to work! I haven't lost anymore but haven't gained either. So I am at my weight loss of 5 pounds still! I am doing better at my water and such. Tonight we are going to a wing place for dinner so I am not sure where that fits into the diet but as long as I stop when I am full and do not overeat I feel I will be fine. It is only 8 in the morning and I have already drink 2 bottles of water so I am doing good there. I think am getting sick because my chest is hurting and I been coughing all night..Which for me means bronchitis which is a monthly sickness for me..lol..I hope everyone has a good weekend! I have a busy weekend so not sure how much I will be able to pop in! Good Luck to everyone on weigh in today! :grouphug:
 
well I gained 1 lb. :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad:

I have now given up all liquids except for plain water. I will try that this week then go from there.
 
Just got off the scale and I gained:scared:
I am now at 190.5 so it looks like I gained back 2 lbs. (everything I lost)

My little one was up all night last night. She is coughing and has had a fever of 104. I have not been sleeping well or eating well because of it. (excuses,excuses:rotfl2: )
I will keep going!!

Today's my first weigh-in.

I'm down 2 pounds!

I'm going to Vegas this weekend, so hopefully I can avoid temptation while I'm there so I don't gain it back!
