More cute pictures!!! Teresa and I will have to take some when we go tomorrow!!
That skirt is fantastic!! I LOVE it! Your girls are both gorgeous (even with a mullet
)That is SOOO adorable! What a great idea!!
No fair that you posted a contest before I could get to the boards to see it! Don't you people know you're supposed to PM me and give me the answers before you post a contest?
Anyway, even though I didn't win, I know all your kid's names- Luke
Yeah, with the sub-forums we'll definitely lose this "family" feel and we'll have to click around to see everything. I like the chit-chat, the sewing questions, the pictures, and everything, all rolled into one.Ill add my![]()

. And a big THANK YOU.
As for getting a sub-forum, I like the thread all in one big long list. If we HAVE to get a sub-forum, could we keep the big long list? When it hit 250 pages, it could be stickied to the top. So all of our bookmarks, links, pics, etc would always be there. Does that make sense?
Oh, and Heather, I just noticed your siggy. Married to the Disney-hater. Last time I looked at it, I think it said Love of my life.
I'm glad you like my siggy!
I'm KIDDING!!! I better love him since we've been together for almost 18 years!! ![]()

OMG! This is making me laugh sooo hard! She is sooooo cute, though! what can they say, they are bringing back the mullet! and making it look GOOD!
It's true, though!Oohh!!!! I can't wait to see it!Shhhh........ I am working on a Mulan custom for DD. She will wear her silk in "Disney's China" and then change to Mulan. She has no idea I am working on it (she has only asked me for a Mulan for a year) I will be working on it tonight after she goes to bed and will try and post pics tomorrow.
OUCH!!! I really feel for you!I have been feeling ill and I went to the Dr. on Friday. I have something nasty called Cellulitis. He gave me antibiotics. But this morning things weren't better so I had to go back and he gave me some different antibiotics. Hopefully these will help. THe infection is on my right arm so typing and using the mouse hurts.
I hope these antibiotics work and you start feeling better soon. How traumatic! Tessa's never went to school of any kind (well, except Sunday school) and I'm not looking forward to kintergarden. She is, but I'm not!!I also have to share Miss. Katie's huge milestone. She went to "Pre-school"We belong to a home school group and meet every Monday. The kids all go to different classes and since Katie will be 3 in a few weeks she was able to go to the pre-school class. She did well after the initial freak out. She cried for less than a minute (I was on the other side of the mirror and could see her) and then she was fine. She was so excited when I picked her up. She said she had fun. However, when I asked if she was going back she said "No, no, no I am not going back!"

The directions said to buy one yard of each type of fabric, which I did. But then I was supposed to cut a stip that was like 80 inches long. One yard isn't long enough for that. Was I supposed to sew two strips together to make one strip? Because it wasn't long enough, it's not very "twirly."
I love this set! I asked her to match the headband, and they match perfectly. Sooo cute!
Anyway, I love how this skirt looks, but it was SO HARD to put together and I still don't know if I did it exactly right, anyway here it is in all its glory!
So I started over. It had too many layers and was too stiff so I just used white for my background fabric on the front of the bodice. The back and the lining of the front are still the floral. Then I caved and bought some purple embroidery thread. I always use embroidery thread on my appliques but for some reason this time I tried regular first. All I can say is the thread made a HUGE DIFFERENCE!!!!! It went from crapplique to applique! So I am much happier with it now! I still have to put buttons on it. I found some perfect ones today at Joanns and by the time I got to the checkout, Lily had tossed them out of the cart. Of course they were the last package of those buttons
I will definitely case that!
I can hardly keep up, but I am trying. I can not multi-post because my ancient computer has issues! I love all of the new stuff that has been posted.
