I just can't keep up with you guys!!!! I wanted to share what I just finished. These are for dd2 and dgd2 to wear to MK when dd7 wears her Cinderella custom. I didn't care for the Anastasia at first, but once I got Drizella finished, I love them together!!! Since I took these, I did attach a green ruffle to the front of Drizella and they are all packed for December!

I love these! That is just an adorable idea. Perfect for a picture with the stepsisters!

I haven't been on here in so long. I've had so much going on and haven't had time to sew. I've been lurking though...lol....I'm back now and I am going to try and finish up a dress I'm making with Pooh fabric.

I tried multi quote and could not do it.....

as always you guys always outdid yourself more and more with the outfits...

theresajoy and heather... hope you enjoyed your trip ,can't wait for the trip reports:hug:

castlecreations: That was a really nasty fall, it's always like that, it doesn't look bad at the begining then the swelling comes... Do not forget the ice, it helps with the swelling.

I have a friend that has a 20 mths old daughter, I had about a yard of pink fabric and I made her this outfits.. I did the patterns myself so I made them very simple..

I know somebody asked about the patterns with different sizes... If I have a pattern like that, I cut it at the largest size and fold and pin the piece to the size that I need , for the curves I usually clip (the same way you clip on fabric) and fold like that I can use it later for a large size

Here is Jenna's Minnie Dot dress. I'm going to make her some yellow bloomers to go under the dress. I made her the little mouse ears too. One of the Mickey heads on the apron will have a red polka dot bow on it to make it Minnie Mouse.

Excuse the clothes in the back that is the clean laundry that needs to be put away.

That is a very cute pattern. I have never seen that company before. Where did you find it at?

Those are too cute. I love them both. Did you mean to say that your DD has a neice or that she is going to your neice's B-day party?

Thank you very much for the compliment. It will be her niece's birthday 1st birthday party -Saturday(sister to the girl in the photo with Megan at the aquarium)

SewBaby patterns are VERY popular around here- even the quilt shops sell them sometimes. My rinky dink Joanns and WalMart have spinner racks. They are known for simple and cute patterns- they do lots of stuff in fleece too. Patternreview.com has several reviews on this pattern and I know alot of women loved it.

heres a description
The twirly dress: Make wearing dresses fun with this easy to sew pattern with a full circle skirt for maximum twirling power! Designed with knit bodice, there are no zippers, buttons or facings to slow you down. You can even use a purchased knit shirt for the bodice! The skirt can be made from knit or woven fabric. You can use a single fabric, or mix fabrics for a unique patchwork look. The patchwork look is a great way to use up small pieces in your fabric stash. A sash design is incuded which makes a darling bow in the back.
they are sold all over the web, but here is their site http://www.sewbaby.com/

I checked out her website. So did you download the book that it mentions on your home computer?

There are loads of people who make patterns on there - but I get the ones made by CarlaC (you can look at patterns by author). Sign up for the website, login and then buy whatever ones you want (I have only done the portriate peasant and the stripwork jumper (without neck ruffle). After you pay it goes into your library and you can view it from any computer with internet. Once opened, you can save a copy onto your computer :)

That is CarlaC's Peasant dress pattern. I just added an apron to it. It was super easy. I could have had it done in one night, but I started late in the night and then didn't get to get back to it till tonight.

DD has a trip to a farm tomorrow. So of course she need something to wear. I showed her the fabric this afternoon and she said I wanted pink piggies! I had shown her fabric (pink piggies) on ebay about a month ago, and of course she remembered!!! I'll post a picture of her in it tomorrow. (This is the new round neck sundress from YCMT.)

th_FAMILYPICS1755.jpg

sorry for the pics. i was having trouble with photobucket and the lighting in my house is terrible. Thx for looking!

I love the skirt with that shirt such a cute idea!

Another Enabler Alert! CLEAR VINYL FROM HANCOCK'S!!!

Someone last week was talking about they saw clear vinyl w/princesses at their Hancock's (can be used for raincoats, purses, etc.). I was at mine this morning and I saw it. It is really cute and they also had Pooh, Cars, Princesses and Mickey Mouse. The price was $7.99 and it was on sale for 30% off!

Well unfortunately I bought all of mine before I found the disney ones but I love this clear stuff! I have a big piece in our playdough box for the kids to sit on the floor and play with it with. It also covers my dining room table cloth and when I recovered my dining room chairs (after a 2 year old peed on them lol) I added the clear vinyl on top lol.

2 more outfits to post.
The dolphin one I whipped up in 1 day for her to wear to Mystic Aquarium.

I now have to go finish a Minnie Dot dress that I started the other night.
So sweet I am debating one of these for Alaysia in Dec!

Hi Everyone! Since I fell in love with the Stepsister outfits, I had to try my hand at them as well. The girls decided they wanted both the stepsisters on each shirt...sigh...
It took me quite a while, but here's one top so far. I will have the outfit finished tomorrow, but wanted to show you what it looks like so far.

Alexis also took a tumble down the drive way. She said. she had a roll over...:rotfl: she literally rolled like three times. Her face didn't look too bad at first, but now her eye is really swollen and her cheek looks really raw and red. But here is a picture right after it happened.
th_IrelandandLexieChristmas20072128.jpg

It doesn't look too bad in the picture, but it's much worse now...:scared1: poor dear...That's why I didn't get the outfit done...I actually had to take care of my kids...:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Love the step sisters! Poor Alexis I hope she is feeling much better! :goodvibes

with all the step sister fun, I wanted to share anastasia in her anastasia!!

That turned out so cute. I have a question though. In the pattern it looks more like a shirt than a dress. Did it end up short like a shirt or is it long enough to be considered a dress?

2cutekids-Do you think that the rounded neck top would look good with a peasant top under it? I'm making Jenna a new uniform for tomorrow and I wanted to do something different for her. Was it easy or hard to do?

I made it a little longer than a top, but shorter than a dress. The directions gives you measurements to do both a top, or a dress. I'll post a picture of DD in it tomorrow so you can see how long it is. I think I made it 2 inches longer than the top, (or 3 inches shorter than a dress).

I'm not sure how it would look with a peasant top. But DD wiil be wearing it with a tshirt tomorrow. I haven't actually tried it on her yet. I finished it around 10:30 tonight so I didn't get a chance yet. It was pretty easy to do. The directions were clear and the pattern/seams all lined up.

Yeah!! I went to Hancock's this (well I guess yesterday) afternoon and finally got a bit of disney fabric!! This has all been on these boards before, but I was uber-excited to get some of my own.
Here's what I got:
DSC_0009.jpg

Between clearance and sales I got 3 yards of the "small world" fabric and a yard of each of the rest and didn't pay over $4 per yard!! Now I just need to decide what to do with it!!

I also went to JoAnns. I was really saddened by the selection of Disney fabric. They had very little and the only "good" one in my opinion was the blue Pooh toile. Oh well, I didn't need to spend any more money.

Okay, off to bed! I am going to post some of the things I have made in the recent past tomorrow!!

Jess

Whew!! So many cute things!!
This is my first post to the new thread- it has been so nice out we have not been inside very much!! I have a couple things done but no pictures yet. We went out today and bought annuals to put in the flower beds and new sand for the sand box. Then we painted flower pots for mothers day gifts. Then I went to work. Busy busy busy!!! We are going garage saleing tomorrow- there is a big neighborhood one that I have favorite houses to go to- I can't wait!!
I hope I can stay caught up I love commenting individually- there was just to many this time- This "new" thread really took off :surfweb:
WOW!!! Those are great! I just have to keep telling myself... I don't need a Circut, I don't need a Circut, I don't need a Circut... :lmao: I sold some un-used baby items last week and I was going to just put the money away for a rainy day, but I may "invest" in a Circut instead.

I have one suggestion- GET THE BIG ONE!!! I wish I had :sad1: :sad2:
And have you seen the design studio thing so you can hook up you computer to the cricut!! So Cool!!

Good night all!!

I noticed at my nearby Hancock's they didn't have a great selection on Disney fabric either. They did renovate which is a nice change, but still.

You did well. I love your selection. :)
