That is exactly what I am looking for. It is ADORABLE! I wonder what she used for the hat?
I embroidered the fabric, found some stiff stabilizer I had in my stash from purse making, and took apart an old party hat we had for a pattern. Trace the pattern (leave a little bit for the seams), trace the stabilizer the exact size, fold fabric over edge of stabilizer and sew. Tack the very ends together to make a hat shape. I cheated and glued the fuzz on the bottom and the top of the hat. Oh and don't forget the elastic! I sewed that in too. It really was pretty simple to make. I got the inspiration from here http://www.sewforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=61021 You may have to register with the site to see it. She gives great directions and best of all....pictures!

It's 11:45 pm ......... I'm baking cupcakes!!!! It's my daughters 9th birthday tomorrow and she wants to take cupcakes to share with her friends. I didn't get off work until 9:30 pm and realized that I needed to go to the store to get everything. Oh, and I'm trying to finish up her outfit for tomorrow. I made her a tink peasant top and some decoupage jeans. She likes it. Dunno if I did the jeans right. I think next time I'll put some heat n bond lite on them so that I don't have the bubbly puckers that I seemed to have without it. Oh well, live and learn! I just need to put the ruffle on the shirt and it's done! I'll post pics tomorrow.
