Look what my itchy bidding finger got me!! This was a full sheet set, so it has 2 pillowcases. It came to $10 w/shipping! They look brand new. I don't have a clue what I'm going to do with it!:rotfl:

I did the same thing, but the ones I bought have all of the princesses on them and stripes. I can't wait to get them and make something out of them. That is a very weird statement when you stop and think about it. :rotfl2:

Ok, I've just GOT to have the pattern for the skirt - do you mind sharing. I think it would make something cute for the princess on ice show (Could look cute as an ice skater skirt?!)

That is adorable. I am putting it in my CASE file.

After she got it on she insisted on wearing the sash around her neck instead of in her hair.

She looks like quite the diva with the sash around her neck. Great work again, Lisa.

Ok Here is the princess with the broken arm. In her custum made sling. I had to bribe her with gootsnacks (fruit snacks) To take the pics. But I thought I would share.
th_IMG_0294.jpg
Sorry about your accidents lately. Hope your princesses on all on the mend now. That sling is great.

OH MY GOODNESS - That is the EXACT set my mom bought for me in 5th grade (about 14 years ago). I still have it and use the blanket when it is really cold around here! They were super quality!! Where did you find that?? Wow - I feel like I need to pull out the comforter and take a picture to show you, lol . . . The sheets are back home at my grandma's house. . . I'll have to see what you make, I may have to case you with the sheets I've had since I was a kid!

haha that is me and my typo! Capri like crop pants.

The girls and I went to the "My Little Pony, Live On Stage, World's Biggest Tea Party" yesterday. I had allready made Lydia a skirt last summer, but Arminda really wanted something too. So, I whipped her up a tween flare skirt. Really, it was very whipupable! I LOVE this pattern, it was one hour from pinning on the pattern to final stitch!

I didn't get any real good pictutres of the outfits, but here are some we took at the show:

th_DSCF2382.JPG

Corey didn't want to go with us :confused3 He said that he found the full size My Little Ponies slightly freakish! :rotfl2:
Really cute outfits! Who knew My Little Ponies were on tour?? :confused3 And Corey chose to miss it???? :confused3 I can't imagine! :rotfl: :rotfl: Funny!

I spent the weekend working on some sewing that I just wanted to get done.

DD is only 9 months old, so the face had to be cut down alot.

I just really like this fabric. This doesn't really look like a top, but it is.
th_DSC_0049.jpg

I didn't have time to get the model in the pictures.
Really cute outfits...and I love the fabrics and colors! :thumbsup2

Just thought I would share the Cat-in-the-Hat outfit that I made for my little one.

Oh I think they look like they go together. Really cute! Course the person to ask is LisaZoe.;)

And just cause I didn't multiqote everyone cause I really should be grading the 400 lab reports I collected today, I did want to say:

Castle - I hope Ireland feels better today....poor dear

Steph we love you! Gee I hope your legs are better. Do you have an aloe plant? They really help!

My2tinks - I agree with ya about focusing energy. Seriously I only have so much to go around!

Adoptionmama - adorable outfits...I especially love the bodice on the pooh one...cute cute and so is your DD!! :cutie:

Flea - I just love your new sewing area table! :lovestruc

How cool is that!?! I didn't know they were that old. I guess we'll call them "vintage"! I got married 14 years ago, so I guess you must be a little bit younger than me. Unless you were 19 years old in 5th grade!:rotfl:

I really don't have a clue as to what to make with these!! If anyone has any ideas besides the standard pillowcase appliques, let me know!!

PrincessKell:I think they look great together!

I found the cutest fabric today...well it's actually a sheet...but I knew i could do something with it..
306660068.jpg

I also have been working on panels for my Tinkerbell outfit. Here are the first two. The bottom halfs look funny but they will be cropped when I hem the skirt...but otherwise..so far so good..
306660060.jpg

I was going to wait and show you the finished outfit, but it might be next year before I ever finish it...
Neat sheets.
The appliques look amazing. Can't wait to see the finished product.

That is just great! If I were to make an easter outfit, this is the one I would be CASEing.

This is the Farbenmix Anna pattern. Leighanna really likes it. She wore it to church today.
th_anna001.jpg

th_anna005.jpg
The idea of Farbenmix patterns scares me. Are they really that much harder?

Cute! That's one thing I did not like about the Butterick pattern, that looks very nice with the straps.

You know, to be sappy for a moment, you guys are really the best. More than once I mentioned having a problem finding a certain fabric and someone has pmed me offering to send it. I really appreciate the sense of family here and I've had a rough patch socially and this place keeps me sane (and thinking maybe I am not crazy after all). The people on this thread have been nicer to me than people in real life, including the pastor from my old church, so thank you.

Anyway...here is what I made with the fabric sent to me. I copied mytwotinks and tried gauchos. I think they turned out great. I need to tighten the elastic around the waist, they are so heavy they slide right down her skinny hips and are more like low-riders! I will definitely do them again, maybe as capris. Jacob had a soccer tournament this weekend and she got lots of compliments today from the moms. The shirt is from Wal Mart and I got the bling from the sewing expo I went to. I attempted to make some matching bows, but they look a little too "handmade" if you know what I mean.

I agree, the women here are incredible. I don't post often but always feel welcome.
What pattern are those gauchos? I love them and might need to add them to by CASE file.

Here is what I did yesterday and today. I totally CASEd it from :wizard: . Megan loves the bunny peep. I had my first serger accident, sliced a big hole in the peasant dress. Thankfully it's under the jumper so it's ok.

When I went to JoAnns to get the clips I saw the cutest madras fabric, 40% off. Like I need something else to add to the todo pile!

Hi! I just used a regular shorts pattern and added the ruffles like you would to a twirl skirt (2x the width of the leg).

Very cute and I love the little bunny!
and accidents happen! I broke a serger once!:scared1:

I made this using simplicity 3937 (it's actually a baby bag pattern but it really is just a simple tote with interior and exterior pockets). It was a simple project.

LOVE THE GNOMES!

I had a scare tonight....Ireland woke up from her afternoon nap SCREAMING!!! All of a sudden her ear was hurting her. She just held her head and screamed and screamed. She wouldn't let me look in it. She was fine right before her nap and even went in the pool. She didn't get her head wet, so I knew it couldn't be just water in her ear. Ireland is NOT a cryer. Last year, she broke her toe and walked around Epcot all day, and at night, she finally told me that her toe hurt...she doesn't usually cry when she's in pain, she rides it out. I knew I had to take her to the doctor, but where to go on a Sunday night at 5PM....ick...the ER!! So off we went, luckily a doctor that I'm friends with was there and we were in and out in no time...he got her a big syringe of something...and within 2 minutes...it was Goodnight Ireland. She stopped screaming and fell asleep. I had to carry her 45 pound body out to the car...it wasn't pretty..LOL. Anyhow, Miss Ireland is sporting her very first ear infection..she's in bed and I have a feeling that she won't be up until the morning... Wish me luck..I have to keep her home until at least Wednesday...so much for doing any more sewing...
By the way, I decided to do Wendy as the other panel on the skirt, and she's almost finished!
Glad to hear Ireland is feeling better. Off topic, but how did you come up with the name Ireland? I think it is such a pretty name.
