Ok now I want your thoughts on this - only thing glued is the paper piecing & the journelying box but they aren't glued to the background paper

I think the background may be too much - I'm thinking I need to do a solid but what color

side note - when we lived in SCal, Megan's dance studio was in a "priveledged" area of Thousand Oaks, so we had some celeb's in the area...at her afternoon recital there was a group of people in front of us who looked like they had just gotten home from the clubs...it was Richie Sambora and Heather Locklear, their DD was a couple years older than Megan....when we left the show, Richie was right in front of me...I could of touched his tush, but didn't...now if it had been Jon

I think it was paper PIERCING not pieceing....

thanks for the good comments...decided to do the same LO pieces for all the LO's just mix them up a bit....off to work on the 4 boys'!

Reddy, did you make that paper piecing?

You are using solid mats, I don't think the background paper is too busy. However, it does also depend upon your photos. If they are close ups, it is good. If they are all far away with lots of stuff in them, you may want the solid after all.

Reddy, i think the LO looks great! You could always double mat the photomats with a lime green or yellow (to coordinate with some of the stars). That may help them "pop" alittle more off the page.
