TO OUR FAVORITE GUY....
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, AARON!

Thanks for sticking with us! We love ya!
But on to the best part-
I am so proud of my girls. Indulge me in a little mama time![]()
Our studio took a total of 42 numbers to the competition. The studio got all first or second place with the exception of 1 third place, 1 fourth place and 1 fifth place. The numbers my girls participated placed:
Lyrical : First place
Open production(tap and jazz): First place
Open production(musical theater): First place
Junior musical theater: First place
Senior Line Jazz: Second place
So!!! We had a great time. But I'm exhausted. I did think about you Punkin. Hope everyone else had a wonderful weekend as well. I'll catch up tomorrow.
i want to thank you all for your advice. i won't be returning to these forums though. i've found that if you don't completely follow TGM's advice, you are questioned about it and looked at as if you have horns growing out of your head. i did ask for thoughts about my itinerary so it's partly my fault, but i had no idea people would be so taken aback that i don't live by TGM. i will continue to subscribe for my upcoming trips and use the least crowded parks guide and, believe it or not, the sample touring plans. i think even TGM would understand that not everyone can follow his advice ALL THE TIME. i'm not trying to flame anyone or be rude because no one has been rude to me. i just don't feel very welcome here. thanks.
anyway, that's done.![]()
allie - congrats on your race!that's awesome! you are a racing machine lately!!!

Punkin....I never posted much on TGM and I NEVER posted my itinerary!Sorry you got unkind comments. I...on the other hand....would loooove to see your itinerary. Can you pm it to me?
10 miles! OMG! I'm just tooo old for that.

SO lame! I am glad you are just not posting there anymore. I have never been to that forum or sight..i rely on the DIS and unofficial guides and good ole' experience. So annoying that people think they always know whats best for everyone else!can i just vent for a minute?
okay. thanks.
i posted my itinerary over on the TGM forums to see what people thought. i got many critical comments because i wasn't following TGM's advice to a T. it really offended me. i mean, what if i don't want to get up early and hit every park at opening? what if i want to sleep in on MY VACATION??? and i don't need a 3-hour break every day. those tips just don't work for me personally at this point in my life. anyway, they weren't necessarily rude, but they were all kind of taken aback that i don't completely follow TGM's advice. mind you, i do look at his least crowded park days and sample touring plans. i just feel like some of his "followers" are like nazis and if you deviate from his plans, it's sacreligious to them!
okay. rant over. just wondering if i'm the only one who's noticed this?
GOOD MORNING, EVERYONE!
Faith....Danielle is right! Tan in a bottle! I use Loreal tanning cream on my legs. They just don't tan anymore. I think it has something to do with childbirth.![]()

Happy crappy Monday Peeps,
We had a terrible weekend and it just keeps getting worse. Yesterday, when my dad went to pick-up my grandfather for church, he fouind him naked and laying on the bathroom floor. Everything was covered with feces and urine and my grandfather was completely delusional. Sadly, he had fallen Thursday night and had been lying there since. We see him every week for church and talk to him several times a week. He is super active for someone who is 83, in fact he still drives so it is , they of course ran a boat load of tests. He has a raging urinary tract infection that has gone septic. He has HUGE sores on his hip and shoulder that have become necrotic and need surgery. And the topper, the hospital called this morning with the results of the scan they did and he broke his neck. He is not a good surgical candidate because of his age and the only other option if they absolutely can't do surgery is a permanent neck brace. The spot where the break is is aparently very close to the area that controls his breathing. Now this man is VERY independent and refuses help. We have hired maid services and he fires them, we hired a lawn care service, yep, he canned them. He wants to do it all on his own. Just last month he put together a shed in his backyard. When they told him he will probably have to live in a nursing home permanently he said he would rather die. It is just so sad. He loves my boys and is a fantast great-grandpa. He was crying last night because he is so worried about his 17 year old cat because everyone in the family is allergic and can't take him. It is heart breaking. My granmother died early last year and his beloved cat has been his constant companion since.
And while extremely trivial in the great scheme of things, my knee is still a wreck. It is just adding insult to injury.

Hey everybody!
I survived ATLANTA. Guess my small town-ness is really showing. Mistake number 1: I used Mapquest which gave me the shortest route but also took me straight through DOWNTOWN. Mistake number 2: Not timing my trip and ending up in the middle of downtown at 4:15 on a FridayI am afraid to say that there are now permanant grip marks on my steering wheel and I was working on my "buns of steel"
How many calories do you think you can burn driving under those conditions?

I am so HAPPY---Dh and I were talking this afternoon about our Gatlinburg trip and we have now decided--insert drum roll--to go back to Disney for a week instead![]()
Trying to figure out when to go. Call member services in the morning and going to see what they have for end of May first of June. In regards to the Mountain trip--things the older kids wanted to do I/DH would be stuck back at the cabin with the younger ones. That is not my idea of fun.
We are going to pretend that we are still going to the Mts and surprise them with the trip on the way. We will see how long it takes them to catch on.
oh, and that atlanta traffic.......yeah, i do it ALL THE TIME. not fun. if you're not out of atlanta by 3:00 p.m., you're sitting in traffic. period. my family complains about traffic in nashville and i just look at them and shake my head......there's no comparison!!!

BTW, I ran my race today! I finished it in 23:25!It was a two mile run. I was really pleased with my results. I was actually able to wear shorts today!
It was a beautiful day for a race. I've just got allergies that are driving me nuts.

I use TGM too. I am always told that I plan too much, and I should plan more rests and breaks in, which I know I don't need.I got railroaded too, when they thought I was "cramming" too much into my stay. Well, I knew that me and my daughter wouldn't be going back for a looooong time, so we wanted to get all our favorites in. We also weren't doing any TS meals, so that we could get more touring done. When it was all said and done, we had a wonderful trip! There are two in particular who made me feel like an idiot for trying to do what I was doing. People tour differently, and they need to be tolerant of that. Sorry it didn't go well for you.
Congratulations!BTW, I ran my race today! I finished it in 23:25!It was a two mile run. I was really pleased with my results. I was actually able to wear shorts today!

Morning all.
Hi all,
Mony - Praying for a safe trip for your husband.
Hey peeps!
It's been very windy here today too. I went to take the dog for a walk and I felt like Winnie the Pooh on the blustery day. I told the dog he better hurry up before he went flying through the air like Piglet.![]()
