Well Peeps, my endoscopy is scheduled. I am NOT excited about it. (I may have mentioned that before.) It is June 29th at 9:00 in the morning, but I have to be there at 8:00. I can't eat that morning, and it will take me about half a day to recover, the doctor says. I also have to stop taking my Prilosec on the 19th. That'll be a fun week and a half! I am just anxious to get it over with.

 remind us again so we can all be thinking of you on that day! i'm sure you'll be glad to at least know what's going on and have some peace of mind.

i had a major "peep moment" today and i had to share it with the guys (cause you guys are part of the reason for it! :goodvibes ). i ventured to wear shorts to the gym tonight for the first time since i was like 22 years old. i usually am not comfortable in shorts and therefore hate working out in them because i can't relax and just work out and not worry about how awful my legs look in the mirror. well, i decided to be adventurous today and wore some gym shorts.

after class, one of the ladies approached me and said, "what are you doing cause you look great? i was sitting in my car when you walked into the gym today and i didn't know who you were til i saw your face because you look so different." i told her how i've changed my diet and soon about 3 other ladies were standing there listening. we talked for awhile about dieting and exercise, etc. and they all were just gushing about how great i looked. i just kept saying thank you (i never turn down a compliment - i was taught that it's rude). finally, my best friend (who's the fitness trainer) started quietly clapping and everyone started joining in and cheering for me. i was so embarassed!!!!! of course it was a good feeling, but i'm sure i turned fire engine red!!!

now keep in mind that a lot of these people haven't seen me in a few weeks because i've only been to the gym a few times since coming back from disney because we've been sooooooooooo busy at work. this week was the first week i got back to my regular exercise routine (explains why i'm so sore i can barely move!!!!!). so i think because they hadn't seen me in a few weeks, they could really tell a difference.

anyway, just wanted to share with you guys cause i know you guys can appreciate how good it feels. i'm not expecting huge numbers tomorrow because i'm really sore and i know how sore muscles retain water (or acid or whatever). anyway, have skinny dreams and good weigh-ins tomorrow!!! :flower3:

Hi punkin! :wave2:

I will do that. I WILL be glad to get the results and know how it will have to be handled long-term.

I should be writing TR. How about you? ;)

OMG! I didn't realize that was on again tonight! I just started watching it this season, and I really like it so far.

Um..I am also laying in bed watching Dance. I'm actually watching the one from last night until it's 9:20. Then I can watch tonight's without having to watch the commercials!! (Love that DVR!!)

Not much time to catch up. My main computer is still in the "hospital". I hope it gets well soon. I'm on a borrowed pc now.

Anyway- update on niece situation- thank goodness mom came to her senses. Mom is paying for DN to go with us. I got her on the flight to orlando with the rest of us but she will have to fly home on another carrier by herself- I'm a little nervous bout this but I know the airline will take care of her plus she is 14 and if we get her at the right gate and she doesnt have to check any luggage she should be ok- right? Make me feel better ok-

On the plus side- our flight home has a 1.5 hour layover- hers is direct and she will get home about 2 hours before we will-

I was able to add her to all of our adr's- except Hoop and Coral Reef but I'm going to keep calling back. It was a MIRACLE- but I was able to add her to our Cindarella's Royal Table- and that will be special enough if I cant arrange the other 2.

Thanks for all the hugs in my time of crisis-

Great news!!! I'm sure DN will be fine on the flight home. Have fun at CRT! I love that place!

Well rachel is home and doing well.:goodvibes She had a hard time when she woke from surgery and ended up ripping her iv out and then screaming for 1 1/2 hrs and had to have a breathing treatment. Now she is laying down for a nap.

Pigget, thanks for telling me about your DD.Rachel has had all the same symptoms and I hope this helps her daytime behavior/attention span. The Dr.has mentioned several times that she has mmore symptoms of ADHD than my DS9 who has been diagnosed with it.

thanks for all the prayers everyone! I am going to go try to get some sleep...
 for you and Rachel.
MELINDA!!!! I am soooo excited for you daughter!!! And to think they all got there around the same time is absolutely amazing!!!! :cool1: God is SO Good!!!:thumbsup2

UM...We'll let the first part slide. No Biggie.
As for being smothered in gravy, I would much prefer whipped cream or chocolate! :rotfl2:
:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: I was thinking the same thing!

Hello Peeps !

I'm back !

I have been lurking around and keeping up with you all.

I have been maintaining my 14 pound loss pretty well, but I went to Toronto last week for a "girls weekend" and had a bit of a food fest. My girlfriends and I went to a fancy shmancy afternoon tea at the Four Seasons. It was amazing. I have decided that afternoon tea is my favorite "girlfriend" outing.

Keep drinking your water !

Kim

Hey I was just thinking of you tonight! DD and I were going over her French vocabulary studying for her oral final and I wondered what has happened to you while we were doing that! Great job on the maintenance! The tea sounds great! Glas you had a good time. Have fun this weekend!

Since she has a direct flight I am sure it will be ok. I am so glad she is going to get to go! I know you would have felt horrible if you had to leave her behind!

In about 2 hours I have a dentist appointment. I have a confession I haven't been for almost 7 years!:scared1: I never had any problems with my teeth untill I started having kids and then each pregnancy was followed by a rootcanal. 2 of which were done my the worlds worst dentist and has left me petrified! I ended up with some tooth problems on my trip and have postponed going for a month but I'm in so much pain now I can't wait. A friend recommended a dentist to me but I'm seriously so scared I could faint. And to add to the nervousness of the pain I'm worried about how much it's going to cost. I'm pretty sure I need another root canal..............I want to just die right now. And then I feel stupid because I"m a grown woman. Anywho, I'm nervous. I'm leaving to go see my new niece next week so it's good I'm getting this taken care of now........that's my attempt at positive thinking. Ok, I'll stop rambling now. Anyone have some valum they can pm me?:rotfl2:
OK, major dentist chicken here too. We are talking, they give me laughing gas for a cleaning kind of chicken. I feel for you. I had a root canal not long ago and they said I will probably have to get one more. Have I gone back? Nope. I guess I love living on the edge, just waiting for it to really start to hurt :rotfl:

I will be thinking of you. That is actually the day my sister is getting married (yes... a friday, ugh!), so I probably wont be here to give you :grouphug: , so take it and save it up for then, ok? I am bet the waiting is worse than the actual procedure itself.

WHOOHOOTY! I bet you were floating on air!! that is so fantastic. I would have been beet red too, I cant take a compliment to save my life.

I know I have said it before, but I honestly would have quit LONG ago if it wasnt for you guys. I check here all the time to read along even when I cant always post, and it keeps me on track. I love the support and I know I owe at least 50% of the weight I have lost the past few months to this place. I just feel a bunch of big losses coming tomorrow around here. My new bling is so close I can taste it!!

Hooray. I'm glad it's all working out.

Winkers & Lynda- Good luck with your appointments.

OK I have a food sharing and a Wooo Hoootie!

The food is the 100 calorie soy crisp packs from Costco. They are called Sensible Solutions. The cinnamon swirl tast like little crunchy cinnamon rolls. The pretzel crunch are sort of like chocolate covered pretzels. The cookie dough ones just taste like chocolate chip All very satisying.

OK, on to the wooo hoootie. I went to the mall today with a gift card from a student. I decided to buy some new jeans, because my old ones are at least 8 years old (I KNOW! I hate clothes shopping. I've had the gift card since Christmas). I picked up a pair of Levi's boot cut, size 10, and went to the dressing room. They were so loose, I took them off without unzipping them. I got dressed and went out and picked up a pair of size 8s. They were perfect. I was feeling a little down and tired before that, but after the new jeans I came home and did a Denise Austin tape.

My computer is driving me crazy - so slow! Something is wrong. I just know it!
But Congratulations, Punkin! That's great! What a cool thing to happen. And you're right - you should always accept a compliment offered to you!!!

Lynda, you'll be in my prayers. I hope you find out what you need to.

Hope everyone else is doing well!
See you later! I have trip reports to read! I just figured out that one of the reports I had started and saved and was going to read "sometime" was Melinda's! :goodvibes So much more fun now that I know her family better. I've been worried all week about her daughter's trip!

SINGLE digit jeans, baby!!!!

Oh this is a hoot! MALE(S) overt your eyes, you will not be able to scratch this image out of your brains...

So I was on the other forum I now frequent that is oh-so-mormon, right?
There's a Beauty Thread that caught my little eye. On this Magic Cream sold in the ethnic men's tolietries department of any store that works better than Nair.

It was 3 pages long before I realized they were all talking about shaving down there... "big time" ...the whole she-daisy! EEEK!

It's literally called Magic Cream for ethnic men's beards OR mama-hoo-hoo's. It was soooo carefully talked about (all super squeeky clean words). I still get fits of giggles when I think of it!!!! My favorite comment was something like, "Won't Patrick be SURPRISED for his birthday?" OMGosh! There's more, but I wanted to keep this PG. I think we all need to run out and get us some Magic Cream!!! :rolleyes1 ((I'm NOT going First!))
