Heather I am so sorry to hear about Christi. I will keep her and her family in my prayers.
My brother went in for surgery again today. They are trying to get his heart to go back to a regular rhythm. No pacemaker because of previous surgery.
I have not been peepish these past few days myself. I made fudge for gifts tonight and all but stuck my head in the pot to lick off the leavings after I had put the fudge in the dish to cool. I worked 12 hours today, then had to shop and then make the fudge, so nothing left for exercise. I'll try again tomorrow.
Lynda, I'm sorry too that a DL meet won't work. I'm just going to have to plan a WDW peep meet one day. Are you getting excited about January yet?
I am stressed and excited about this week at school. Stressed because we have so much to do and we were just told that the school will not be accessible during the break. I am excited though, because our theme this week is Santa, and we have lots of fun surprises for the kids. For instance, tomorrow, Santa is our student of the week. The kids can ask me questions about him, then we draw pages in a book for him and the kids dictate a sentence about him. Friday, he will be coming to visit. Our Santa is a carpenter, and every year he makes a wooden car for each of the students. and if we are lucky, Mrs. Claus (age 101) will be making a visit too. Here are her
pictures some of you have seen if you've been on this thread for a year.
She made the outfit herself.
Everybody watch out for those wagon wheels!

. That was also the case when I got home last night and did not go to the gym. That is OK though. I still have 4 more days to get my 3, pre-trainer workouts in. I am going out tonight to buy myself a set of bands to keep up the workout she gave me. I might bring them to work and use them during lunch.
Thankfully, he was back to his sweet self this morning. Sometimes it feels like I live with Cybil and her twin sister.
Monica good luck to your DH.
.... tons of food, little of it healthy, much of it full of sugar
. I came into today with a plan, but I don't know if it will work:
, so I took 3 small chicken nugget bite things to hold me until lunch. Don't know what I'll have then, but I AM NOT GOING TO PIG OUT ALL DAY... Thank goodness I share an office with other people who would see me eating -- this thought is keeping me from going out and grabbing a whole bunch of cookies (plus now I know exactly how many calories are in those cookies and what those cookies will do to my waist). I'm planning a small lo-cal dinner.
I know she knows her song, but I am afraid she will freeze up in front of everybody.

You Go Mrs. Claus!!!!
I am very excited and am looking forward to the new challenges! Still don't know if Insurance is what I want to do when I grow up, but it's where I am now!
Have a Great Day All!!!
that's all I can say. My sons had a woman who was about that old too working at their preschool as a sub teacher. She was so cute and the kids loved her.
