Oh mony I'm so sorry! If it helps at all, my one and only pregnancy was so completely awful I've never even considered trying it again.... but my DS was the easiest baby most of my friends have ever seen, so maybe there's something to the idea of bad pregnancy = good baby! :goodvibes

I just had the BEST workout..:yay: .I took my kids sledding at this HUGE hill near my house. OMG... walking up the hill has pure torture. Going down was such a blast...and my DD6 and DS4 LOVED it What a great afternoon. :cloud9:

My plan for this weekend is to do as much physical activity outside as possible, sledding, maybe cross country sking...it is so much fun that I forget its good for me.

Monica...I really hope you feel better soon. When will you be at the 12 week mark ? Usually that is the turning point for morning sickness. Hang in there ! :)

That sounds so fun. One of the things DD and talked about last time we walked through the park was all the active lifestyle things we wanted to do... snow skiing, biking, rollerblading, scuba diving, kayaking, rafting through Grand Canyon, hiking. That way we can combine our exercise, fun, adventure, travel, and bonding times. :hippie:

That sounds like tons of fun! I love sledding. :yay: I have spent most of my day getting ds13 ready for winter scout camp. They are snowshoeing 2 miles into their campsite. YIKES! Doesn't sound like fun to me but he's excited.

Just got back from Disneyland and I stopped in the bakery to say hi to my nephew who works there. I DID NOT get anything from the Bakery, as hard as it was not to. BUT, the Bakery and the Ice Cream Parlour are CONNECTED! Blast it! I shared a CC Cookie hot fudge sundae with DH. :sad2: Forgive me UtahMama, for I have sinned. :angel:


No time to read now, I'm at work. Once again0 lbs. lost. That's 3 weeks in a row, so here's my plan of action. More protein, fewer carbs, more water. I can't eat fewer calories, because I'm very hungry as it is. I can't exercise more, because I'm pushing myself to the limit now. We'll see what protein and water (and a few heartfelt prayers) do for me.
Hang in there, Danielle!:hug: That's how I was last week.... I worked really hard and nothing came off. This week, I actually ate more food and walked 3 miles a day and did weight training 2x and I dropped 4 this week. Find the right combo. I think you are on to something w/ increasing your protein.

Computer internet is being very bad today.

So, just gonna say hi.

Up 2 pounds.

Feeling crappy. The worst any of my pregnancies have ever been.

I'd be better off just staying in bed.

Can't look at food, can't think of food, can't smell food, when I do eat I feel like I ate everything and then some. I am so uncomfortable. Then 2 seconds later my stomach is mean hungry and I feel like passing out. Craziest thing I ever experienced.

Everything I ate last week, makes me sick this week.

And why am I up 2 pounds anyways?

I am drinking 10 glasses of water a day. Just haven't been on the treadmill. If I think about that, it makes me sick.

Ok, done complaining. Hope everyone else is a big loser today!

Isn't if funny how your body reacts different each pregnancy? Maybe you have twins? :lmao: :grouphug:

Hey everybody, remember me.. I've been MIA.. I totally got swept away with Chirstmas, New Years, and then my trip to the world. Boy do I have a lot to catch up on (congratulations Monica). It looks like I missed all the fun.

OK, now I'm back and I am ready to lose this extra weight. When I look at my pictures from our trip I cant even believe that's me. It is so easy to gain weight yet so hard to lose.

My problem is I get discouraged when I don't lose fast enough and I guess give up. i also get overwhelmed with too much diet advice/programs. I need to find one that works for me and stick to the one plan instead of combining them all together when it's conveinient. Atkins worked for me before I got pregnant for DS3 (lost 50 lbs & got preg.. everyone said it would happen) but since then I havent had too much luck with Atkins and I'm not sure if all that fat and red meat is too healthy. I also bought the Dr. Phil program and The Dr. Oz program .. sometimes too much information is not a good thing.

For next week I will simply ... drink more water...eat more lean protein(2legs).. and complex carbs.. I also have a huge problem with sweets.. I like the idea of the little small pieces of dark chocolate .. I like to put them in the freezer and enjoy (1 not 10) when I crave sweets.. I will also exercise daily.

I will also try to do a better job keeping a food journal and reporting here on a regular basis. I will weigh in on Friday's even if the news is not good. Please help keep me accountable. Melissa

Kat- Ok, BABY steps! We are all in this together and we just get too excited sometimes. Skim through our diet advice( since we're all Passionate about dieting ;) ) but take the support. When you have a bad day, just mention it and chances are one or more of us are being tempted to fall off the wagon too. We did miss ya, and we're celebrating your return! We cant wait to see you shrink in size and grow in other ways.

I too tend to want to give up when I dont loose or when I work my bum off only to gain back or stay the same. It SUCKS, but It's worth it. I'm starting to feel great!
