DISappearing Peeps...A fastpass to THIN! Part 2

OK, first things first! I LOST 2.2 lbs. this week! I am down to 241.4. That is a total loss of 8.6 lbs!!! :cool1: :banana: :dance3: :cheer2: I want my 10 lb ribbon next week! ;)

LYNDA[/B]....Your pictures are FABULOUS!!! You've got some real talent girl!!! My DD is very interested in photography. We just traded in the old Kodak for a shiny new Canon XTi. She is just wearing it out....mostly teenage stuff. If you're interested I'll pm you her Flickr page. I'd be interested to know what you think.

I would be happy to look at them! Yeah, go ahead and pm me the link. Oh! That Canon XTi is nice! I want one! (Even though I already have an XT and a 30D.:rolleyes1 )

I stayed the same but that is not surprising as I was no the good dieter this week. monday I will start with a plan in my hand and not just hope for the best as i did this week.
 
OK ladies and gent...I am going to see the Harlem Globetrotters tonight. I am afraid of what will be available to purchase there at the Assembly Hall, and I am not talking about souveniers! We won't have time to eat before we go. I have to run home after work, let the puppy out and feed her, & go back into town to meet DH at his work. I will grab a healthy snack, but I will be eating dinner late. I figure once isn't going to kill me there. But what about the concessions?!? I am afraid there will be cotton candy, pretzels w/yummy stuffings (like cream cheese), & really good cookies. (I am basing this guess on what is usually available at the basketball games.) Ugh! I am feeling weak-ish w/AF on her way! :scared1: I am not certain I can resist EVERYTHING. And I don't know what would do the least damage if I do cave. Perhaps I will look at calorie king before going. Maybe the info there will scare me out of eating anything. Anywho, any suggestions or encouragement would be greatly appreciated!

Congrats to all of you "losers" and "samers" and everyone else in the same boat that i am in in the "battle of the bulge"..and more importantly...a resolve to get healthy!! I am new to this thread, but I am not new to the 'weight loss game'...i am about 40 lbs over what is considered "healthy" for my height and daggnabbit i WILL lose it! I have 2 weddings that I am in this year ( the first in June ( that coincides with a trip to WDW..yay!) and another in September....not to mention that i am turning the big ole' 3-0 this year as well. So now is the time!
Now that I have bored you with my life story..i just want to say..i would love to pick up my fastpass to THIN if they are still being handed out :)

I gained 2lbs! :scared1: I know it's because I haven't been excercising for 2 weeks and good ole aunt flo is knocking on the door. So my mantra today will be that I won't give up and stuff my face to make me feel better!

So excited that this is my first weigh-in. I'm posting my weight and my size in the hopes that it motivates me to keep reporting. I think the picture in a swimsuit is an awesome idea, although I won't be the first to do it! :rolleyes1

Ok, here goes:

Weight: 192.5
Size: 16 (and tight) :sad2:

The last time I stepped on the scale, two weeks ago, I was 194.5. I've tried to skip the carbs and walk more, so hopefully that is making a difference. My new goal is to walk 10,000 steps a day.

CONGRATULATIONS to everyone who worked so hard to lose weight and stay the same last week - I hope I will be joining you next week! :cheer2:

I've read some of this thread (it would be impossible to catch up entirely) and would like to join and participate.

I lost 60 lbs. eating South Beachy, but have gained back about 25 of it. :mad:

I had a cute little body just 8 months ago and now I am going on vacation and nothing fits and I had to buy new larger clothes. :headache: ok, end of rant

I do know what I'm supposed to do and how I'm supposed to eat. No more excuses! Maybe being held accountable here will help.

The only thing is I'm kind of a food snob and will probably bug you all to EAT MORE VEGGIES, so just slap me if I get too pushy. But please do EAT MORE VEGGIES and if you like v-8, drink some. It's filling and helps you to EAT MORE VEGGIES.

So, hello to all and good luck!:thumbsup2

p.s. the only scale that works at my house is one where you can plus or minus 5 lbs just by leaning a certain way. I'll have to get a new one.

Thank you for the pointers!!! I will obey the weighing in on Friday and posting results thing...but i am a bit horrified at the bathing suit pic..unless i can put one up from when i was 22! :rotfl2:

Um i am the same once again this week but i only went to the gym once this week i am gonna go everyday next . congrats to all those who are trying and those few slackers you can do it we all are gonna be skinnie minnie's:hug:
I had to take off my 15 pd ribbon and put my 10 back on (according to my calculations) i also updated my weight ticker from the weight i started (on this thread) so i would not get confused.

It's been very cold lately all across the U.S. and our bodies natural instincts is to hold on to those layers for insulation. I just calculated my average weight loss over the last 3 weeks, because last week wasn't so great and this week was much better, and if I keep this pace I'll be under my goal weight by my six months goal :banana: !!

Soory to hear Ray is still not doing well. Do you have anything for her ear besides the antibiotics? We did ear infections for years so feel like an expert in treating the pain-I'll share what worked for us. We put vitamin E drops (vitamin E gel caps, poke with a tac and drip in he ear) then put a cotton ball in to keep it from draining. Also, if you like homeopathic, we buy Earache Relief by Similasan. I buy that at King Soopers by the stuff for swimmers ear.
I have some pain meds..unfortunately I know alot about ear infections.Ray hasn't had but two but Peyton(DS9)had more than I can count-his first was at three weeks and he has had six sets of tubes.Thanks for the tip about Earache Relief,I may get some to have.
Down 1 pound this week

My goal for the week is to limit my sweets intake. It has been a bad week for eating sweets and my weight loss could have been more if not for that.
Congrats on the loss!Sweets are my downfall too...WE can DO this!
Dis - I think I lied to you:headache: ...after rereading the disney sports page I do see that we have to maintain a 15 min min pace...YIKES sorry I mislead you...bad harley.:sad1:

but I dont think that the pace requirements actually begin til after the last runner has crossed the start line...when it gets closer to time we may all need to kick it up a notch and try to squeeze in a few minutes of light jogging at a time 2-3 min at a time...we'll see as the yr progresses and our peeps get healthier...we might be just fine with walkiing the whole time (except you pixies princess: )

I am gonna try to limit my carbs this week to those found in natural foods...ie no lean cuisines, no "diet food", just real natural foods...salads egg whites, lean protein, basically south beach phase I - I have tried to do this for 2 wks now and failed horribly, but I really think this is my weightunloss issue...we'll see I'll take it one day at a time...that is after all how I got this big ...one day at a time..

but I so want to be skinny by summertime, and now I have a UGLY FAT beach pix of me to post in my kitchen to keep me away...everyone in the family ought to lose!:lmao:

No time to read now, I'm at work. Once again0 lbs. lost. That's 3 weeks in a row, so here's my plan of action. More protein, fewer carbs, more water. I can't eat fewer calories, because I'm very hungry as it is. I can't exercise more, because I'm pushing myself to the limit now. We'll see what protein and water (and a few heartfelt prayers) do for me.

Congrats to the losers, hang in there no gainers and gainers. It's a journey, and we're making steps in the right direction, even if the horizon hasn't changed in a while.

I don't know what to suggest..definitely look up the calories before you go if you can and maybe eat a 1/2 serving of what you can't resist.

Based on what you are saying you may be losing fat but gaining muscle...all protein lots of exercise and reducing calories good recipe actually for gaining muscle weight.. So you are right the horizon may not have changed but the ship you are traveling on is most likely getting stronger.:thumbsup2 :cool1:
