DiSalvo Disney Trip day 2 - 12/14

I had planned on the MK EE today but upon waking, we found sheets of rain coming down. We decided to nix EE and eat at Whispering Canyon for breakfast. I love this place! We had good food and were served promptly. At this point, we realize that DS4 is now sick too What next?

We have tickets for MVMCP and I’m told that it is held rain or shine. Thankfully, the rain let up and DS felt better. We were set to go to the party! We arrive and have dinner at CP. Characters were pretty good and the food was good. We were done at 6:55 and decided to head to Fantasy Land since everyone was at Tomorrowland. As we walked through Liberty Square, we saw the complimentary photo with no line and decided to get it done now. We arrived at Fantasyland just in time for the party to start. We did Peter Pan, Small World and Mickey’s Phillharmagic in a matter of minutes.

I can’t say enough about Phillharmagic! What a great show!! Anyhow, we wondered about and took in the Christmas parade. We got front row seating at liberty square. After the parade DH and DS1 head back to the room while DS4 and I stay for more fun. We didn’t do too much more (except numerous rides on Buzz) and then we caught the Wishes fireworks. What a GREAT fireworks show. Totally blows FitS away.

After the show we do buzz again and head back to the room.

Side note: During Wishes, Jimeny Cricket narrates about how your wishes come true. At this point in the show my wonderful son starts jumping up and down and looks at me and says “All your wishes come true Mommy?” and I of course said “yep, most of them” well he again starts yelling YAHOO and he starts wishing for Gobots and Transformers, etc.

I'm so sorry that you first had a room that wasn't what you expected didn't sound like a Woods View to me either...then your baby's got sick, plus $$$ for the doctor...the crib...the rain...I don't do well on test either specially when you don't know what's coming next....However...

Beth, it's funny that you mention you had a bad experience at CM for breakfast. We have been there 3 times and each time it was fantastic. No problems. Lots of characters and even though the place was busy, they spent time at our table and let us take pictures. Autographs were done as well.

I would say that if this was the first time, you should give it a second chance. We look forward to breakfast there each time we are there. I personally think it is better than the breakfast at Ohana as well.

Things appear to be looking up. Just remember, even a bad vacation is better than a good day at work!!

MAGIC - Yes, that was priceless. It definately made the prior days experiences easier to accept.

FRED - Oh, I'm sure I'll give it another shot. Like I said, we LOVE having dinner there. It's a tradition with us. Have to go to CM's first before we do anything else.

Even though the first night was bad (with the bunk beds and location) the WL staff came through with the new room we had. I remember walking into 5032 and sighing with releif. THAT's when I finally thought "I'm Home".
