Actaully I have no problem with male nurses. If I am in the hospital for something, usually pain, I dont care who is around as long as they are working to figure out what went wrong!


But yeah, I figured guys (at least my DH) never talks about this stuff.) We were picking out doctors and talking about some of the other threads when the topic came up...(no pun intended!)

Anyway, he said he didn't want a female doctor...now I know why!

The only time that bothered me was when I was having my ds and a student male nurse came in. He acted all embarrassed and looked at the floor the whole time. I was glad he was out of there before my contractions got really bad. My brother is a male RN and he says he totally understands if women prefer not to have a male nurse in there during that time. He was hesitant to come in the delivery room when I was there. Other than then, I don't mind.

I do prefer a male GYN though.

I feel like at that point...as another Dis'er said...everyone but the janitor has seen you (and you never know if you delievered at night) so I guess at that point..I dont care.

Was the shy nurse good looking? I mean if you have a shy guy that is worthless, at least if he is cute, you have a nice veiw!
