Hello everyone! My name is Lori, I am a 53 year old grandmother. I am married and live in Fort Collins, CO, with my husband. My daughter, son-in-law and 14 month old granddaughter live here too as well as my son (29).
I grew up in Florida ( at opening day in WDW ) moved to Texas, then back to Florida in 2010 ( lived 12 miles from WDW) and now home is Colorado. I come from a family of WDW cast members. My father took care of the Disney plane in the late 60's many times when it would land in Florida, 2 nieces work for DVC in FL and my daughter was "friends" of characters for a few years.
Last November we all went to DL/CA and fell in love with the parks. I had not been back to DL since 1978. Matter of fact DH and are are heading down for a few days in May we loved it so much.
Anyway I had wanted to join the group for this past trip, but it wasn't gonna happen. So I am gonna make it happen for 2014.
So here it is..... Will you let me in?
Welcome!!
I like the idea of taking some time to hang at the pool too. Since we now have said this out loud you know it will now rain like crazy during the trip.lol Since we wanted cooler weather this last trip and got heat! Oh well then we sit inside by the fireplace and drink hot totties (sp?)
The thing is, I have heard it before. I remember you or Stacie telling me, but I cannot remember for the life of me what it was about. Man, getting old sucks ***!!I will have to tell it to you one day. It is funny.
OMG, I know! And, he'd crack himself up. "You like egg rolls? I have egg roll for you!" Then he'd laugh and laugh. What cracked me up was he got all up in the face and was like "do you like egg rolls?!?!?!?" Kinda hard not to giggle at that.
One can only hope!I like the idea of taking some time to hang at the pool too. Since we now have said this out loud you know it will now rain like crazy during the trip.lol
Especially out here! And now I will never look at a dollar bill without thinking....no, wait....without KNOWING it was, at some point, stripper cash.![]()

Catching up on the thread. Stacerita, Amy, and Beth gave me a case of the morning giggles! And now I will never look at a dollar bill without thinking....no, wait....without KNOWING it was, at some point, stripper cash.![]()

Remember that other guy who photo bombed your pic?? You were taking a pic of the stage or something in the distance and this guy walks by right in front of you, and lifts his shirt up and makes a funny pose. He didn't even work there! Just walking by.![]()
But, on a positive note, if I stand on my tippy toes, I can see Friday from here! Bring on the weekend! And the corned beef, potatoes, and green beer!!Okay, I don't actually want any of that, but isn't that what you have on St. Patty's Day?

We could still hang out by the pool, in the hot tub, in the rain even. I heard mention of boxed wine, iced tea, and a Long Island from before. Could be a steamy event.![]()

I'll be sitting by the pool no matter what the weather! Either with iced tea or hot chocolate.![]()
Sounds great to me, too!And I will be sitting right beside you!!!![]()
You have some of them in your sig. That was fun. I loved our group flip flop shot.I forgot about the photo bomb guy. Should have gave him a dollar. I will have to check out the pics from that trip again. haven't looked at them in ages.
Ooooh, now pie I could go for! Yum.Today though, today we are having pie. Happy Pi Day!
Rainbow cupcakes! How fun. I've seen the recipes for those before but it always seemed like a lot of work. So cute though!!We do!!I have the corned beef in the fridge already, the cabbage, carrots and potatoes as well. We will make that Sunday for dinner and have it with Irish Soda Bread and rainbow cupcakes.
We don't normally do the green beer though.
Sounds like fun. Glad you have a group of gals to help you figure it all out.I am excited about next weekend though as I am going with my single parents group to Daffodill hill and Black Chasm Caves. Really excited and think it will be a fun day.
I went to a crab feed last sat with them so having fun figuring out this single lifestyle again LOL.
If it's hot chocolate weather, I'll join you. Otherwise, I'll probably be inside in an air conditioned lounge somewhere.I'll be sitting by the pool no matter what the weather! Either with iced tea or hot chocolate.![]()
CAPRI I wasn't sure if I should post this here or on FB but mom is going to get a scooter for the entire trip next time so we would need an accessible room as well. Not sure if you have to request so many or whatever but thought I should mention it. Or do we just mention it when we book it? Just wondering how that works.
