...Holidays with Mickey!!!

Since I just got back from a trip to the World during which I attended MNSSHP, I have holidays and Disney on the brain! I want to see your layouts of ANY holiday (Christmas, Halloween, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Columbus day -- whatever!) at Disney or with a Disney theme. So, even if you haven't been to WDW or DL on a holiday, maybe you have Disney Christmas decorations or Halloween costumes, you get the idea!

So, that's the theme. Here are the requirements:

-Use an odd number of pictures

-Frame at least one photo

-Include journaling (try to be creative!)

-Use at least three different papers

-pictures must somehow evoke the theme Holidays with Mickey!

UPDATE: OK -- We have a prize now, thanks to Britt and her designer friends! Thanks, Britt!! Two lucky winners will each receive a $5 gift certificate good in Erica Zane's ScrapMatters Store!! Erica has some adorable kits and coll templates, too! I know I could use one of those GC's easily!! Too bad I can't win!! :rotfl: So, come on and get those pages done!

Oooh, I love it. I have ton, I mean TONS of MNSSHP photos. I think this is the first year since 2000 that we're not going to WDW or on a cruise during this season, but I've barely scrapped any of them. Now to choose which pics to use...

Are birthdays part of the holiday thing too?

Brittney, have a fantastic time. But somehow I know you will!

Okay - time to drag out those MNSSHP photos...

Yes -- Birthdays count! Did you do all of those layouts today, Fran?? If so, you are the speediest scrapper EVER!!

I admit I may not have done them all today. My to-do list is brimming to the top and I might not get a chance to do another. Plus I have not posted those here before, so now you get to see them!

Thanks for sharing them -- they look great! I think the Birthday one even meets all of the challenge requirements, too!!

You know, I didn't even see that you had requirements! Were they there before?? lol! I guess reading is fundamental!

I'll have to look through my pictures; if I get time I'll take a break from my book and do this. I have tons of pictures from holidays at WDW but not what I'm working on right now.

Here is my entry! I scrapped pics from "Candy Corn Acres" at California Adventure last Halloween!! I can't wait to see it again in a few days.

Thanks for this FUN challenge Jessica!

Sweeeet!! I have TONS of Christmas decor pics!!! Yea!

BTW -Britt - LOVE THAT LAYOUT!!! Have a GREAT time in Disneyland!!!

This is not a typical LO for me. I did it for the Saturday Special at SM. It's a stretch - we're not at Disney but at home, wearing our Disney costumes that we wore to MNSSHP earlier that month. You don't have to count it for the challenge - I'm just thrilled to have another LO completed!

My DH doesn't have his beard on since it wouldn't stick. So he looks more like Geronimo than Capt. Jack!

Fran-Where is that scarecrow from? It's so cute!

Great LOs Fran, Britt & QuiltyMom!

Britt -- I love the layered, paper-clipped together style of your LO! I'm going to have to use that idea soon. I love it! I also love the candy corn alpha. I'm trying to figure out how I can duplicate it from reading your credits. So, you used an alpha and filled it with a gradient somehow? Hmmm...must figure this out.

Quiltymom -- your LO totally counts! As long as it has a Disney + Holiday theme, you're good to go! The pictures don't have to be from a Disney park! I love your layout and the journaling is hysterical! Love it!

Sorry, I forgot my credit links, I guess I posted them in a hurry! The scarecrow (and whole page kit) it came from is Fall Ending by DeDe Smith. It's really cool because it has fall & winter elements so useful for 2 seasons of pics!

Fran: Great pages! The Christmas trees are always beautiful. Its interesting to see what they come up with to decorate the trees! I was the Queen of Hearts when I went to MNSSHP with my friends. We had a great time. I will dress up again when we go!
Britt: I haven't been to DL for Halloween. It looks like I need to make the trip! What fun! I love your colors and your stitches are great! It looks like my sewing machine!
QuiltyMom: I am using mine for the Tuesday Template Challenge! Cute costumes and great LO!

I can't wait to see what the rest of you come up with! I hope you have a great time at DL, Britt!

Fran - you scrapping Queen! Those pages are great. It's a fantastic feeling when you get so much done, huh? And thanks for sharing that kit with us.

Britt- As usual, I love your LO. Your sense of style is mighty fine. And the little green men are jumping up and down on my sholders since you're at Disneyland, and I'm not. Oh well...

Briar Rose - isn't that a fun kit to work with? I never realized the tree thingies were hinges until I saw your LO. I love your interpretation of the template, too! At least we can double-up on challenges here! :goodvibes
