I weighed today and lost another 2lb. By my records thats 9lb (4.5 kilos) since 5th jan.

I'm pleased with that:)

Good luck with the week ahead everybody:thumbsup2

well done Jo thats fantastic :thumbsup2

I have lost 3lbs this week I think. Bit disappointed with that, as Ive been REALLY REALLY good....better than i have been for weeks! but hey ho.. its all going in the right direction!

Well done to everyone for their losses! Its difficult to get motivated in this cold weather.
Started work with a personal trainer today... it was fun and he has lots of ideas that will help me lose weight faster and also try to tone up the wobbly bits! (of which there are many!)

I have lost 8 stone 2lbs so far.... but still a work in progress!

wow well done :goodvibes

Sorry for not posting earlier - this is my results for Saturday so technically January.

I lost 2lbs so thats 8.5lbs for me :cool1:

Really pleased as I'm really enjoying WW and don't feel I'm missing out at all - if anything I'm eating far more than I used to :confused3

If I can lose 5.5lb this month I shall be over the moon. Might be a bit too high a target but I'll give it a go. I did have an indian and a small bottle of bacardi :scared1:on Saturday so any loss will be great this week.

My clothes are all feeling better but best of all I've lost my back B**bs! :rotfl:

Good luck in February everyone. This thread is really motivating and I LOVED the before and after photos - very inspirational!

I have a cold coming on and I'm approaching that week and my appetite is going crazy today. Might have to go and chops up some carrots to graze on and got to the gym to get me away from the kitchen

Hi,

2lbs off this week, not quite my half stone target for January but only 2 lbs short.

Heading in the right direction though so that's all that matters :thumbsup2

Brilliant Paula-Jane :thumbsup2

I seem to be very motivated this morning. couldnt work out why until Nat said its February :cool1: Ive even written out the date a few times this morning. :rotfl:
Done lots this morning, loads of cooking so ive got lots of meals ready in the freezer :cool1:
heres to a great month for us all :wizard:

Good luck Nicky :goodvibes

Well my diet began this morning. January has been mad between my holiday and all my family birthdays, so I have lost it big time too. So I weighed in at 10st 5lbs this morning, and I want to get to 9st 10lbs as soon as I can, then 9st 7lbs by the summer

I've also given up the booze for a few weeks, so no more white zinfandel on a Friday night at F&B's, I've offered to drive, but thankfully Lost starts on a Friday night so I won't have to worry about that ;) (though I am looking forward to a few Cosmopolitans when hubby & I head up to Manchester for a shopping weekend at the end of the month)

My weigh-in will be on Friday's, so see you then

:wizard: Good Luck everyone :wizard:

Good luck Mandy, you have always done very well before so I have no doubt that you'll do it.

i started today

woo hooo

want to lose at least 2 stone by july , then another by xmas
:cool1:

Good luck :goodvibes

Good luck everyone! :goodvibes

January wasn't a bad month for me. My method is to be fairly strict all week and allow myself a few treats at the weekend. I don't weigh myself but I feel much healthier and energetic, plus a few people have commented that I look slimmer. Also, I finally feel settled into my gym routine! :)

If it works for you, that's great - I tried that method but find I go overboard at the weekend so I am just sticking to the WW diet strictly now

i lost a grand total of 4 lbs in January but I started late and hit a hiccup straight away by staying the same the first week :rotfl2:

It will be a slow and steady weight loss but I feel quite motivated so hopefully results at the end of Feb will be better.

Well done on that 4 lb loss :thumbsup2

Well done to all so far, I have lost another 1lb this week which means through January I lost half a stone. It wasn't easy last week, the Mother in Law was making pies and my son was making cakes so I am happy I did this well.

Better week ahead I hope.

Best of luck of those still to weigh.

steve

As I mentioned yesterday, I lost it big style in January but I have given myself a kick up the bottom and I'm determined that February will be a more productive month in terms of weight loss. With that in mind, I am aiming to lose 1/2 stone by end of Feb.

Good luck to everyone else for this month :goodvibes

Good luck Joh, I am sure you'll do fab.

Wow that's a great way, at least you don't stress over each lb. Keep up the good work. :thumbsup2

Slow & steady wins the race. :thumbsup2 Enjoy your evening on Friday, don't stress too much if you have a few nibbles.

Well done Steve. :) Half a stone is fab.

I think i'm all caught up now!

Everyone is doing so well, like some of you I have written off January. :guilty: I have changed my SW group as I didn't like the approach of the woman at my old group, she was very tough with people and actually made one woman cry. :scared1:

Anyway I have been this morning to a different group, I was dreading stepping on those scales as I haven't been weighed since 16th December and have not really been on "the plan" properly since then. However I decided to get it over with and start again from today. Well I guess i've been harder on myself than I realised as amazingly I lost one pound!!!! Which also mean't I got my one stone award! :woohoo:

Good luck for this week to you all. :wizard:

That's fantastic - I bet you're glad you went now. :woohoo:

Good luck with the new group - I have to say i think it's terrible your old gorup leder made somebody cry - we feel bad enough in the first place which is why we join slimming clubs!

that other leader should be reported

Hi everyone!
I have finally stopped using my youngest DD as an excuse for my weight gain - as she is 2 and a half, I think it's about time.:rotfl:

I've done Weight Watchers before and lost almost 3 stone but all of the meetings seem to be at 5.30 or 6.00 which just isn't practical when you've got 3 children. Other times are when I'm working.

I've just ordered the Paul Mckenna book too.:confused3 Not too sure about that though.

My self-esteem is too low for me to weigh myself just yet (and I'm not posting it on here until I get over the potential shock) but I thought I'd get a weight loss ticker in a couple of weeks and join you for a bit of support, if that's ok.:)

I joined WW on line 4 weeks ago and love it! It was £29.95 for 3 months as they have a special offer where there's not registration and then it's £9.95/month after that.

Great tools for finding out points and also for working out points to your own recipes. Also their's lots of support - 24/7.

I couldn't make the local class but I'm so glad I started online. I can't imagine not doing it that way now.

I wish ww online was free to gold members  i miss it !

Thanks everyone.:goodvibes I will psyche myself up to getting on the scales before Valentine's Day. Yikes.

I looked at the online WW, but I think I would prefer the support (shame) of getting weighed each week at a class. I've found one that is on at 7pm, so I might be brave and go along. I wish I had a fellow fatty to go with - unfortunately all my friends are slim.:sad1:
