dis dieters, week beginning 9th april.......

I will weigh myself in the morning as I know I had a bad week. I was going on the 6 day makeover plan but I was too ill with tonsillitus to care, so I kinda ate comfort food instead. The weekend was terrible for me, so I will give you my weight gain(likely) tomorrow.

Good going for all that have managed to lose after the holiday weekend. Never mind to those who didn't, there is always next week:rolleyes:

Does anyone think WW is reall that good? I am considering doing that so I can at least do the points system. I did it about 5 years ago, so I'm sure it has changed considerably, and I remember losing 5 pounds in the first week, but nothing for the next few weeks after that. My doc recommends low carb (not Atkins tho) but I was wondering, as I already know the kind of foods I should stay away from, whether this plan may work for me. I can't stand the lack of variety in most diet plans, and I mean, it seems to work for most people:confused: I have Polycystic Ovaries and I know low carbing seems to work, but I really need my carbs, otherwise I'm exhausted (and I'm not talking sweets or Coke here)

Well done to all that have lost and stayed the same:thumbsup2 To those that gained, never mind keep at it and better luck for next week, good luck all:thumbsup2

As you can see WW points is really working for me, but i have a long way to go, i have set myself a target of the end of the year and i'm really going to aim to meet it. I find i have to weigh nearly everything and dh says i'm quite obsessive but when i see the lbs falling off it's definatley worth it. I have quite a varied diet and i'm still able to eat the things i crave, just in small quantities, i have also noticed my portion sizes have got alot smaller and i'm never hungry if i eat at the right times. i rarely eat bread as i know that is a danger food for me and i only have pasta twice a week and rice once per week, (it has been suggested that i have PCOS but it's never been formally diagnosed) The meeting i go to very friendly and i always end up talking to someone and it's great that i weigh in at the same time each week on a set of properly calibrated scales as the ones i have at home can change by up to 5lb if i get on and off three times in a row.

Hope this helps and you are feeling better:hug:
