i think that easily transfers to food and drink too:rolleyes1
well it does for me anyway.
cant wait to get back to normality on tuesday, dieting is so much easier when im at work as no tempting stuff around.

oh and mandy it was an xbox fitness doo darr and not wii (though we have that too) i look like a red jelly bear when it scanned me, talk about not very complimentary:scared1:

Yay we are back for a new year. So stepped on the scales yesterday and I have put on 7lbs since the last time I posted so I now have a bit more to work on. My aim, is that by the time we head out to Disney in October I will be lean and mean.

Weight loss ticker correctly adjuted and gym regime starts again in the morning. It's gonna hurt but it has to be done.

Good luck to all.

Steve

:wizard: Good Luck Steve, it sounds like you're really motivated ::yes::

well the scales say I have put on 6lbs:headache: since I last got weighed, not great but Im determind it will soon be gone :thumbsup2

I'm sure you'll lose that in no time Rachel, good luck :wizard:

I like the idea that I'm a little over weight because I have a compulsive addiction disorder :rotfl:

Ooh count me in it's always good to have some support

I've Definetly put on a few pounds over the Christmas period
So am wanting to loose a total of 1 1/2 stone!!

I start on my diet tomorrow morning!! Hope my oh is prepared
As I have a feeling I'm going to be a tad moody over the
Next few days!!

Good luck everyone!

I am so getting involved with this thread ... I have gone from a 12 to a 14 in the past year and have basically pigged out since my September cruise to the point that a lot of my size 14 clothes are too tight, gaping zips, muffin tops .... you get the unpleasant picture.

I have been convinced by 2 work friends to go to Weight Watchers and I will be there on Tuesday for the first time ever. Don't really know what to expect, other than a big shock when I stand on the scales :scared1::scared1: I think the time has come for some drastic action!

.. and I hope you're back in your size 12 clothes in no time Sarah ::yes::

I have weighed in this morning and I have put on 7lbs over December  so I've got 9lbs to lose to get to my 'happy weight' or 12lbs till my 'holiday weight'

:wizard: Good luck to us all :wizard:

Well I had my weigh in yesterday and Ive put on almost 12lb, cant say Im surprised, however now the hard work starts, Im going back to doing my Zumba and I would like to lose a stone to start with, then more after that:)

Good luck everyone for the first week:goodvibes

I'm in again.

Not starting till tomorrow - Tues - as its my birthday today:cool1::banana: so I cant possibly start my diet today :rotfl:

Think i've remained around the same weight, but am still a stone overweight so need to get back down to it.

Luckily DH says he wants to lose some weight to - so hopefully we'll help each other NOT to eat rather than encourage each other to have pudding :rotfl2:

Good luck everyone!

I am in...I have been soo bad the past few months! I am off to WDW in 6 1/2 weeks so need to fit in my shorts!

:bday: Happy Birthday Katie, I hope you have a lovely day :bday:

Well, I weighed myself at 2 o clock today and came in at 11st 5.5lbs.

I think I put on approximately 1.5lbs over Xmas :woohoo: Not 100% sure as my last weigh-in before Xmas as I used MILs scales...which always give a different result to my own :confused3

Start weight 194 lbs
Current weight 159.5lbs
Goal weight 133 lbs

Total 61lbs difference

Weight loss so far 34.5 lbs
Weight still to lose 26.5lbs

Good luck everyone! Sending you all positive thoughts! :goodvibes

Kayleigh, you must be thrilled to have only put on 1 1/2 pounds, well done :wizard: Good Luck hun

I'd like to join in this too.
I am hoping to lose 8lb by end of February for my sisters wedding and another 4lb by end of March for my trip to WDW.
So total of 12lb to lose in 12 weeks - doesn't sound too bad but I am useless at dieting:rolleyes1

Good Luck everyone:thumbsup2

Thanks! I was meant to have started my diet yesterday but...well, we had curry for dinner :confused3

Ah well, Tesco are delivery my diet-friendly food today so hopefully it'll get things on track. I'm actually looking forward to healthy - non chocolate or sweet - food! :rolleyes1

Good luck! You can do it! I've always found I lose more than 2lbs in the first first few weeks so it may take you less time than you expect! But 12lbs in 12 weeks is a really healthy timeframe in which to lose the weight

How are you going about it? Healthy eating or following a plan such as slimming world, weight watchers, rosemary connely etc?

I think one way to make losing weight a success is to find a plan that doesn't feel like a diet. For example, with weight watchers, I can eat whatever I like...as long as its within my points limit.

Good luck! :upsidedow

Kayleigh, I know exactly what you mean about looking forward to healthy eating - I feel like I've been force-feeding myself these past few weeks:guilty:
I have started my diet by hiding all the biscuits and chocolates and am just cutting down on the rubbish but will probably join SW later this week - I like the sound of 'free' foods and it looks like there's plenty of fruit and veg there too.
I really must try and increase my fitness levels too - so lots of dog walking and Wii fit are in the plan too.
Just got to stick with it. Hoping that joining up with everyone here will help.:)

Good luck all!

Just so you can choose your plan with a bit of information, Weight Watchers has introduced their new system ProPoints. You have a daily allowance of PP (at least 29) and then you get an extra 49 PP a week to spend on treats :thumbsup2 Also, all fruit are free, as are the majority of vegetables.

I hope you find a plan that works for you :cutie:

Good luck!

SW is a great diet :thumbsup2 Loads of foods such as rice, pasta, potatoes, meat, fruit and veg etc are all free and so you eat as much as you want :cool1: I fond its a great diet as I hate restricting more portions, I prefer to change the way I cook :goodvibes

Whoops ... bit of a shock when I stood on the scales at the weight watchers meeting ... I have put on 1 stone and 9lbs in the past 2 years and a whopping 1 stone 2lbs since my cruise last September. I have an allowance of 29 points per day plus 49 extra for the week, and if you do exercise you can earn extra points again. It seems quite do-able. I bought some books and a calculator to help me on my way. So it all starts officially tomorrow, and I have to record everything I eat.

Good luck to everyone starting this week.
