Whoops ... bit of a shock when I stood on the scales at the weight watchers meeting ... I have put on 1 stone and 9lbs in the past 2 years and a whopping 1 stone 2lbs since my cruise last September. I have an allowance of 29 points per day plus 49 extra for the week, and if you do exercise you can earn extra points again. It seems quite do-able. I bought some books and a calculator to help me on my way. So it all starts officially tomorrow, and I have to record everything I eat.

Good luck to everyone starting this week.

It sounds like you're prepared and motivated Sarah, so I think you're going to do very well :wizard: Good luck hun

Ive just joined Weight Watchers for the first time ever!

I've been too busy using having a baby, and having a cesarean as an excuse as to why i have so much extra weight. Enough with the excuses now, time to start shifting a few pounds! Im a huge 1st 10lb heavier than before i had Megan, but to be honest i could have done with losing half a stone then too!

I've got a Disney cruise on the 1st October so hope to lose 2 stone by then.

Good luck to everyone else!

Good luck to everyone. :wizard:

I didn't manage to get to my weigh in at SW yesterday as my stooopid car battery was flat (my car hates the cold weather as much as I do) but i'm still ill too so wasn't too bothered about staying home in the warm instead. I have weighed in at home so will be able to give my loss (hopefully;) ) next week. :thumbsup2

Off to WW later - I am very nervous at going to a new meeting place but I'm curiously excited despite knowing I'm going to have at least 6 stone to lose.

Wish me luck!

:wizard::wizard: Good Luck Girls, here's to us all looking on our way to fab for the Summer :wizard::wizard:

Good evening fellow dieters hope all is going well!! I completed my walk of shame this morning to my diet consultant!! I've got 1 and half stone to my target weight!!

Left there with my shakes and my guide book and dreading the next few days!
I get 3 shakes a day plus 1 meal (low carb) and I'm just about to cook my first 1!! Had to use an almighty amount of will power earlier to resist the temptation of eating the girls leftovers!! But strangely looking forward to my own tea!

Good luck over the next couple of days!! I will check back in soon!

X

Hi All.

I'm usually on the Disneyland Paris board but my very good friend Sapper383 told me to get over here and join the dieters thread lol :thumbsup2

I joined Weight Watchers in August 2009, got to my goal weight March 2010 :cool1: Lost 1st and 4lb in total. I still wanted to loose a further 8lb below my goal weight (personal target). I got within 2lbs of my personal goal weight but went off the track a bit, been maintaining ok, never went back above my goal weight but fluctuated by quite a few pounds here and there.

Before xmas my last weight was 16th November  Went for the dreaded weigh-in yesterday to discover I put on 4.5lbs over xmas :scared1: :lmao: That makes me 3lb over my goal weight now.

Diet starts properly from now, as I'd just started the new WW pro points plan before xmas I've started doing it like in the early days, tracking, checking points of everything etc. Been going good over the last 2 days, stayed within my points and not gone into my weekly allowance yet (I aim to keep that for weekends only). Did my new Davina Body Buff DVD on Monday and couldn't lift my arms over my head or barely walk yesterday :lmao:

My main goal is to quit midweek drinking, I'm partial to a glass or two of wine and in turn that makes me snack :drinking1popcorn::. My aim is to not drink at all on a weeknight and also on a Sunday night (unless the Sapper383 family come around for dinner, I'm excused then ;)).

Good luck everyone for the January weight-loss... :woohoo:

well i dont have my first weigh in til next week i lost a load of weight for my wedding last january then the honeymoon period kicked in and my bro got diagnosed with cancer so calorie counting went staright out the window and in came comfort eating !!!
however we have booked our first proper family holiday/honeymoon to disneyworld in may so have bought new fitness dvd new workout clothes and new toning trainers and am hoping to see much less of myself in the coming weeks and months !

I did indeed lol, need the motivation

Going to do my DVD again tomorrow so I'm expecting to be in agony again. I was so bad yesterday that after taking my eldest son to school I couldn't even pull my hoody up over my head to take it off. My arms were too sore :rotfl:

Do the DVD Sapper383, it's fab. Might take a few times to get used to the moves and the routine but I actually used to quite enjoy it (and from a complete exercise-phobic like me that's some achievement lol!). You're going to look fab for your September trip and you'll look back at the photos with pride

One that that's not clear from my last posting, I'm 3lb off my WW goal but I'm 10lb from my personal goal. I'm thinking that's going to be pretty tough after plateauing for a year.

Oh dear, it was bad...very, very bad:scared1:

I have put on 22 1/2 lbs since the beginning of October, so tomorrow I will be weight-watching with gusto:rolleyes1

My problem is that I can resist everything barring temptation!!

Well I went to ww tonight and LOST 1lb
good luck everyone for the coming week :goodvibes

It sounds like we are all fired up with enthusiasm.

Going back to work was hard - everybody has had the same idea - bring the leftover choccies in to the staffroom and put them out at breaktime. I was (almost!) glad that my tooth was hurting so much I couldn 't face anything. My sister pointed out that I should have lost some weight this week - just by having my tooth out yesterday! :rotfl:
