We will be at AKL 2/4 - 2/9 first two nights standard last three concierge. On Fed 5 (our first full day) we have breakfast PS at MK where we will stay for the day. I had planned to go to Concourse Steakhouse for dinner and then on to Epcot for Illuminations. Now I am wondering if this is just too much traveling around in one day. We could just go straight to Epcot and take "gambler's choice" for dinner.

The following day (2/6) we are spending at Epcot with a late lunch at Teppenyaki. I wanted to get back to AKL early evening to enjoy our first night with access to concierge lounge.

Should we stick with our original plans and go to Concourse or is this restraurant not worth the hassle?

To travel from MK to the Contemporary to get to Concourse Steakhouse is not a hassle at all, just jump on the resort monorail and you will be there. After dinner just take another monorail to TTC and then the Epcot monorail, it is very easy. BTW, the food at Concourse Steakhouse is very good, my only complaint with Concourse is it does get noisy from the noise at Chef Mickeys which is right next to Concourse Steakhouse. I would keep your plans they way they are, they sound like a very good plan.

The Concourse Steak House is very good. As the above poster stated it can be a bit loud from the echoing and Chef Mickey's overflow.

The CSH is in walking distance from MK or you can hop on the Monorail (resorts trac) and the CR is your 1st stop.

What time is your PS for dinner. Illuminations starts at 9PM and you need to make time for traveling. If the MK is closed early that evening many will be hopping on the monorail to Epcot. Timing might be an issue.

I recommend Le Cellier in Canada -- if you want to head to Epcot and not worry about timing.

Feb hours are not our yet but I would guess MK will close at 6:00. I have made the PS for 6:30 at Concourse. I think we should have plenty of time to have dinner and make it to Epcot to stake out a spot for Illuminations.
