It’s been a long time since we ate on property either of these days.. we just booked a last minute trip and I have reservation alerts set-up. So if I can get a cancellation somewhere (I know I’m at the mercy of what I can find).. what would you recommend for either of these dinners? Do any of the restaurants at the resorts do special Christmas meals?

Thank you!

At this point, if you are at a resort and not a park, I would suggest you get whatever you can find. Most of it is already gone. If you are planning a park, that is your best option for finding something.
We are doing AK Christmas Eve and Epcot Christmas Day.

Thanks! I’m looking for recommendations of what someone would choose if they have the option and which meals might be special for holiday. I’ve generally had pretty good success with last minute cancellations. Maybe not the exact time I am hoping, but I’m almost always able to get something. It’s just been so long since I ate there on either of these days! 😊

We are doing Topolino’s Terrace for early morning breakfast on Christmas Morning, and have Beaches and Cream for dinner. We are otherwise eating around the world at Epcot.
For Christmas Eve we are doing Sanaa and Y&Y in AKL/AK. We are then doing Winterland mini golf after dinner since the park closes early.

Are you not doing a park then? I would say Topolino’s for breakfast and maybe Cali Grill for dinner had we not been at AK/Epcot those days.

I would also higher recommend Hollywood and Vine holiday meal, If you are at Hollywood Studios. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Lots of people still canceling trips. Not sure who you're using for alerts, but I've used all of them and the most reliable are ************ and ***********. I got everything I wanted for my trip 12/25-1/3.

I’m using touring plans, but I will keep those in mind as well! Thanks for the tip! Christmas Eve we are not going to a park and Christmas Day we are going to Epcot. Right now, I am trying for Garden Grill for dinner at Epcot on Christmas Day (not a big fan of the type of food, but I have a toddler in tow who will love seeing the characters from afar). Trying for Topolino’s that morning.

You're definitely going to have to try one of the paid ones if you're serious about getting one. I've had alerts set up for months, and while I've gotten TONS from the paid ones, I've gotten maybe 5 from TP.

You have to have a touring plans membership to use it, but it’s definitely cheaper than the monthly membership with Mouse Dining. I have always been able to snag reservations with touring plans, but I’m sure it’s way more frequent with the ones you mentioned as they are checking more often. Definitely a higher probability of getting what you want.

You definitely do not need a paid subscription to use the TP res finder. You can do it with a free account

Just on Christmas Day. We have eaten there on Christmas Day at least six times. Same skillet style only with turkey, ham and one year salmon

I would do Liberty Tree Tavern, Whispering Canyon, and this year we are kicking off Christmas morning with breakfast at Toppolinos and dinner at Garden Grill (at request of the kids). I think Christmas eve is at 50's Prime Time this year for us, again, request of the kids. At this point I book whatever I can get, it'll be magical either way.
