Dining Plan Not Accepted?

I am looking at some of the places on the Disney website. A lot of the snack locations say "Disney Plan Not Accepted". For example, I see it at Aloha Isle, but I am sure I heard that the Dole Whip is a snack credit item.

Can someone clarify this for me?

I'm sure they just mean that you can't use a meal credit there, not that you can't use a snack credit. Check out this menu from allears.net:
