Dining plan for friends/relatives?

Hi: If I'm giving some points to friend or relative how are others handling the dining plan for them? As the owner, it seems I have to make the dining plan reservations, but how are they paid? Some people are strange about giving out their credit card info, so I don't know if I can use someones credit card to make them. Can they be reserved and paid at check in? Do you need a park pass to get them? I'm posting here due to the limitation that only members can call MS, and I can use some suggestions from what otheres have done.

If they are staying at DVC on your points, all you have to do is call MS and tell them to add the DDP. They have to get the DDP for each night of their stay, for every person in their room, but they do NOT have to purchase park tickets.

You make the arrangements with MS; they pay when they check in. You have to make the arrangements at least 3 days prior to their arrival.

While they cannot call MS, they can call Disney Dining and make their reservations for dining. Actually all you have to do is catch MS open to add the DDP, it doesn't have to be a full 3 days unless your talking about weekends, holidays and the like.
