Last year we went to HH in early March, and the weather was perfect for us (maybe a little cool for swimming, but we're not swimmers). But I'm thinking that if we went in late February next year, we might get some lower rates on such things as golf, bikes, maybe even resturaunts. I know the point values are the same for both months, but what about rates for recreation and such? Anyone been in February, and if so, how was the weather? Or do you think we should stick with March?

We went for the kids' winter break last year (the last week of Feb.) and the weather was gorgeous--high 70's to 80's every day. I don't think you can rely on that, however, and may get some cool days. There is the possibility though:D

I'm not sure if there are any breaks in price for going at the end of February as opposed to in March. I think most of the changes occur more around the beginning of April (just before the Heritage Golf Classic). But you could call the resort and ask, or try this link:

I don't know if it will say anything for sure about prices, but it has a LOT of information about Hilton Head and you might be able to get some ideas.

You would have to go in early Feb. to get the rooms for less points. Last Feb. and March are the same. We went in March and it was nice for us too.

We are hoping to go back again next year for spring break but I only have enough points for a 1 bedroom for 4 nights (and last time there were only 2 bedrooms left). I am going to call earlier this time and hope we can get a 1 bedroom. HH was a WONDERFUL surprise. We didn't buy into DVC for this resort, but now we want to try to include it in our vacaction plans once a year for spring break! The kids loved it!
