Suzi -- Those are great --- you are doing such a nice job with your Disney trip album.... I laughed out loud about DH being paired w/ Jafar.... hahahaha... Likes to eat nice people for lunch... :lmao: What a great LO... Your kids will get a kick out of that one for years to come!

Thanks Christy! I wish you would give me some lessons on using/placing elements. I do OK with a template, but otherwise, I just don't know where to put them -- which is why I am on the search for templates! SM and SSD has great ones (plus they are free!)
Thanks again!

Poor DD has been sick this week.... she's doing better now, but she was looking really pathetic earlier in the week....

Have a fabulous (and safe) trip! Can't wait to see your awesome new LOs!

Just wanted to share a special page I scrapped from our Jan. 07 trip to Disneyland. It was one of those treasured special photos that you almost can't dare to scrap because it has to be perfect. Know what I mean? Anyway - here's how it came out and I think I LOVE it!!!

Also - just wanted to remind (and maybe inform some of you newbies) that we have a Disney Digi-Scrappers Flickr group specifically for Disney Digi Scrap pages!! If you scrap something digi and Disney - load it to our Flickr group pool. I am always browsing the pool for inspiration!! If you haven't checked it out, please do! It's a great place just to have all our LOs displayed together!!

I love the fireworks in the white boxes!

Never Forget - The other day I was looking for something else to scan and found this instead. The photo is a scan of a postcard of the eternal flame at the US Holocaust Museum in Washington DC. Both times we've gone I have tears running down my face by the time we get to the Hall of Rembrance. It is so moving. I encourage everyone to go at least once.

Journaling Reads:
Burning brightly in the center of the hexagonal Hall of Remembrance at the end of the permanent exhibit is an eternal flame. It sits on a block of black marble which contains dirt from 38 of the concentration camps in Europe and a cemetery where American soldiers were buried to honor the liberators of the camps. The six sides of the room represent the 6 million people who were killed during the Holocaust. The names of 6 of the major concentration camps in Germany and Poland can be found engraved on black marble panels on the walls. There are no windows in the room, but natural light trickles in through the 6 sided skylight high above and from narrow openings in the side walls. Visitors may light candles found on the outer walls as a sign of remembrance. It is a place of quiet reflection and often tears. The inscription above the the eternal flame offers one last reminder that we must never forget all that we saw in the exhibition. We need to remember all those who perished and those that survived to share their stories with us. We must never forget.

Well, I haven't had time to do much, but I wanted to share the save the date I did for my BIL. "He asked. She said, yes." is Elegant word art by Bethany!

I love the rich colors that you are using on your Jonas Brothers album.

My entire family and I went to the Holocaust Museum in 1999 with a bus load of friends from our religious congregation. That was one of the hardest days ever. I think the point in the tour when I almost lost it was when we walked through the hallway lined with shoes on both sides. For whatever reason, the shoes humanized the stories and they became more real to me. I agree with you that it is an experience that everyone needs to have.

I scrapped my pictures, postcards, and other mementos when we came home, but I am thinking about re-doing them digitally.

Beatiful work as always ladies!

Kim -- You have almost sold me on that fanpire kit by Tangie. I LOVE how your pages are coming out. It's a really unique kit... I don't have anything like it.

Britt -- Such an AWESOME picture.... it looks like it belongs in an ad for Disney. Your LO showcases it so beautifully!

That's the part that gets to me the most as well because you can look and look and not find any matches. :( The other part that really gets to me is the wall of faces. :(

Pooh46 Did you snap that photo? It is marvelous. I like the colors that you chose to put that LO together!
CarolinaGirl I need to look for that kit; it looks rather versatile and fun. I like all the swirls and glitter in your LO
Britt Perfect.
Sconnell I love that idea for a STD card! great job!
Melissa Your LO are always so simple and elegant. I remember going there when it first opened. Something I'll never forget. The wall of faces really got to me too.

I'm having trouble uploading mine, so I need to return.

OK, now I'm back.
