Brenda Boone's quickpage Johnny Boy was perfect for these photos from All Star Sports.

Julie Howard's freebie quickpage Blissful Holiday had the perfect colors for this picture I took of dd after breakfast at Kona Cafe.

Here's another freebie quickpage that worked perfectly for the first night of one of our annual Christmas trips. We were watching the fireworks in the MK.

I love the pictures of your babies. Those look great. I especially like Cassie. She looks like she gets up to stuff.

Here's my baby LO I've been working on. Arthur is the tabby and Minnie is the black and white. The letters and the template both come from scrapgirls.com.
Cassie definitely gets into trouble. We forgive her because she is still a baby, she just turned one recently, but is still very much a kitten. She also has some abandonment issues. She doesn't like when we go away for very long. That photo is actually her under the cage we put her in when we first found her. She once jumped from the computer desk up to the top of the curtains. She got yelled at, but it was really funny. And she LOVES to shred paper bags. The one LSS I go uses paper bags so when I get home I take out whatever I bought and let her have at it. She is quite the handful at times though, but you just can't help buy love her.

Your babies are so cute! :) My kitties also love boxes. I did a layout of Cassie playing in my Cricut box. I will have to get some pictures of it when its finished. :)

cute furbaby pages... so I gotta add my little rascal. He died almost a year ago and is truely missed.
What a cute kitten. Its always sad when they die. We've had so many cats over the years, but there are some that I still deeply miss.

Here's one of my dad and my's trip to the Atlanta Botanical Gardens. I used the Asia kit we were talking about a while ago on this thread (and pretty much scraplifted their sample) from Creating Keepsakes, so thanks for the heads up!

And here is one from my Oct 2000 wedding. I'm running out of pictures to work on to try to learn this software. Just when I think I've got it down, it takes forever to do something that I thought I figured out! I put this one together to try to learn how to make the paper with the tear in it and also how to scallop the edges. It took HOURS! And what I love is in the directions for both they are like, this is going to be sooo easy! LOL Not for me. I'm still not sure how I finally did either one. The papers and whatnots came from scrapgirls.com. It's their LoveAlways kit.
Awesome pages! :thumbsup2 I really like the wedding one. Beautiful!

These were some of my first digital pages, so please be kind. I received an offer from Amazon for a free 8 1/2 x 11 Shutterfly book at the beginning of the summer. By the time I'd opened the e-mail and checked-out the offer, i only had a day to put the album together. I usually scrap 12 x 12, so I had resize and rework my pages. I'll point out some of the errors I made in my rush to complete this project.
You did an awesome job with the short time frame! :) I love the colors you used in all of the pages. They are fun and playful. Well done. I did notice on one or two of them where you used black text on the darker background it was kind of hard to read, but the layouts all look amazing! :thumbsup2

We just posted a few days of our pages from our California trip, "California Dreamin' 2003". No Mouse this time, but those pages are coming soon!

This is the title page:

I finally finished this page. I've been working on it for a while now.

If you didn't know, its ME!!! ;) I blurred out the information on the tag for privacy reasons. The saying at the top is one that I had as a sticker in my paper album that I started and it fits here because my parents, and my mom especially, really wanted a girl. They had already had two boys, so when I was born they were thrilled to have a girl. On my dad's side of the family it had been a long time since there was a girl.

The tag is my own creation. I saw these tags by My Mind's Eye from the CHA and thought they were really cute so I decided to try making one of my own that was similar. The teddy bear is actually a piece of Microsoft clipart that I altered. I used a variety of brushes to grunge up the edges of the tag. I really, really like how it turned out.

The safety pin is from Atomic Cupcake. The flowers are by Melany Violette. The swirls on the side are a brush from www.obsidiandawn.com. The paper is my own creation simply using a pattern overlay.

Comments welcome. :) Thanks for looking.

You want a comment? Okay. YOU ROCK! That little card is way neato. I can't believe you made it, and I'm so totally jealous. Not to mention, whose the cutest baby ever? That page came out great. I really love it. :goodvibes

Thank you! :) I was cute! "Though what the heck happened" is usually what my sister says! :lmao: I actually won of those "Beautiful Baby" contests, mostly because I was the only one who could crawl. At least that is the story as my mom tells it.

Yzerbear19..

I so want one of your tags... they are just too cute... could you whip one up for a boy too.... if of course you make them avail. for download.. my kids thought they were awesome..
Dis-ing is a family affair today!

Not a Disney layout, but my most recent layout of my dd getting her ears pierced. I don't have the credits with me. I know I used some things from Jenn Trippetti and Michelle Underwood, both at Scrapbook-Bytes.com. I used an awesome date stamp of Janel K's from Scrapbook-Bytes, too.

Beautiful page! You did a great job. Is the one part "I just got . . . " something that Claire's gave you? Its really cool. I still remember getting my ears pierced for the first time at Claires back in 1987!!! I got my second holes also done at Claire's in 2001. And I don't care what people try to say, it does hurt!

Yes! I scanned the bag that the paperwork and cleaning solution came in. It looked too fun not to use. That was the inspiration for the page and colors. I used the eyedropper tool to pull the color from the swirls on the bag to create the solid color rectangle behind it. I am digging that eyedropper tool! I'm still new to all this, but am starting to feel more comfortable. I guess I'm a hybrid scrapbooker now.

Thanks for looking and for your feedback!

p.s. I forgot to mention that I love all the layouts recently posted (yours included!). There are so many talented people here. I really enjoy this board.
