Hi,

Star Wars Weekend was an absolute BLAST!! There was a kid waiting in line in front of us who looked like Anikin Skywalker-he made the costume all himself. We saw him several times during the day and everyone thought he was a cast member:

Fun with C3PO

And of course the weekend would not be complete without a visit to the Dark Side.....

Bug -

What great pages!!!! Thanks for sharing them!!!! I love the sparkle corners on your chef Mickey's page and I love what you did with the leopard pic on your Chip & Dale in AK page...

For some reason I haven't been getting my updates from this thread. I'm so behind!

Yzer: I LOVE the hospital pictures. I wish my family had been halh as diligent about taking photos like yours. You were very cute! :goodvibes

Bug: You are a much better person than I. I tried to learn PhotoImpact and finally admitted defet. You've done more with your LOs than I ever did with that program. Good for you! Your Star Wars ones are too fun.

Here are the most important people in my family:

Draco: - He is named after the dragon in the movie, Dragonheart. There is also a constellation with the name Draco.

Draco-SM.jpg

He is actually my sister's cat, but he is the brother of Isis.

Paper from Atomic Cupcake.

Isis: - Isis was an Egyptian goddess. And she is very aptly named! ;)

Isis-SM.jpg

She is my baby. :)

I can't recall right now where the paper is from.

Morgana: - Her name is from the Arthurian legend.

Morgana.-SMjpg.jpg

We call her Munchkin because she has always been smaller than the other kitties. Weezer because she was attacked by a dog when she was just a kitten and it punctured her sinus cavitity so in the spring and fall she will weeze and sneeze. Poor baby. And Brown Beard the Cute is because she orginally was all white under her chin, but slowly it turned brown.

I think the paper used for hers is from Lindsay Jane Designs.

Cassiopeia: - Her name comes from the constellation, Cassiopeia because she looks similar to Draco and when we first found her and rescued her from the tree, she liked to sort of stand on her head and the constellation is upside down part of the year.

Paper used is from Atomic Cupcake.

I really wanted to keep them all simple and similar because I wanted the layouts to focus on the cuteness of my babies. :)

I love the pictures of your babies. Those look great. I especially like Cassie. She looks like she gets up to stuff.

Here's my baby LO I've been working on. Arthur is the tabby and Minnie is the black and white. The letters and the template both come from scrapgirls.com.

cute furbaby pages... so I gotta add my little rascal. He died almost a year ago and is truely missed.

Fran: I love your kitty LOs. I'm living in fear of one of our cats passing. He's a diabetic and takes shots everyday. He's been doing really well with the treatment, and thankfully doesn't care at all about having shots, but I still worry. I love him tons, but he's my husband's first pet ever. Losing him is going to go down really hard. Not that it's ever easy!

Here's one of my dad and my's trip to the Atlanta Botanical Gardens. I used the Asia kit we were talking about a while ago on this thread (and pretty much scraplifted their sample) from Creating Keepsakes, so thanks for the heads up!

And here is one from my Oct 2000 wedding. I'm running out of pictures to work on to try to learn this software. Just when I think I've got it down, it takes forever to do something that I thought I figured out! I put this one together to try to learn how to make the paper with the tear in it and also how to scallop the edges. It took HOURS! And what I love is in the directions for both they are like, this is going to be sooo easy! LOL Not for me. I'm still not sure how I finally did either one. The papers and whatnots came from scrapgirls.com. It's their LoveAlways kit.

I've got some of my cat up a tree. I'm trying to come up with some kind of spark to get me going with a LO idea. Anybody immediantly think, oh, yeah, you should do........ :goodvibes

Happy day to everyone!

I love all the furbaby pages. I have not scrapped any pics of my furbabies yet but these beautiful layouts are inspiration!!!!

Lauren, I love your Wedding pic. I know what you mean about thinking something sounds easy to do then taking hours to do it in  I have found that it is doing things like this that I have learned the most about how to use my program though and the more I learn, the easier scrapping becomes...

These were some of my first digital pages, so please be kind. I received an offer from Amazon for a free 8 1/2 x 11 Shutterfly book at the beginning of the summer. By the time I'd opened the e-mail and checked-out the offer, i only had a day to put the album together. I usually scrap 12 x 12, so I had resize and rework my pages. I'll point out some of the errors I made in my rush to complete this project.

This was the first page of my book. The windowbox opening was directly over the castle picture.

This is a picture of dd at 1900 during her first trip to WDW a couple of years ago. I had to resize all the elements on this page. The impact is not as great as it was on the larger page, but it printed well in my book.

This is from a trip from later that same year. Obviously, it is the opposite page to the one above.

I should have mentioned that I used a Shabby Princess Kit on the above layouts.

On the following two layouts, I used the first digital kit I ever bought. It is from Anne Lagnappe (I love her designs!!) and is available at Two Peas. The first is just a hodgepodge of Main Street Photos.

The 2nd is from the F&W festival in (I believe) 2005.

I really need to go back through my files and note all the products I used. All that I used on the next set of layouts were free, including the cool template for the pictures of my dd during her first MNSSHP in 2005.

These photos also were from dd's first trip to WDW. I used pictures from a number of trips in this album.

Dh's sole contribution to this album. This was his very first layout. He was quite proud of it! Note that the font size is off on the second quotation mark. I fixed this before having my Shutterfly album printed, so this must not be the exact file I used for my album.

This just did NOT resize well.
12Coasters8.5x11.jpg

Note the paper that somehow got moved on the template. I didn't catch this until after my album was printed.

My 2nd Anne Lagnappe kit...
7NewTreeofLife.jpg

This layout was put together in a hurry to replace the one below in my album.

I recolored the flowers on this layout, but the color was never quite right. I did not include this is my album.

Another scraplift.
NewExpeditionEverest.jpg

I had to totally rearrange this page to make an 8 1/2 x 11 layout. If I'd known how much time it would take (Remember: I had less than a day to complete this album!!), I wouldn't have fooled with it.
ClubCoolBeverly.jpg

The last page in this album.
