Great page, Britt! It's perfect! Love all the new stuff, too. You just reminded me that I don't need little pirates and princesses to do a layout. H and I are doing the Pirate & Princess Party in June. Guess I'd better go buy that kit!!!

First time using a template.... Love this new kit! :)
Love your LO Britt!

CHRISTY get the speediest scrapper award. That kit has not been available for more than 2 hours!! She was the first person to buy it! HAHA!! Anxious are we?

LOVE this LO girl! WOW! WOW! WOW!!

Hey Britt, question: When you mount the letters on the mounting blocks for the pirate alpha, do you shadow your letters?

And here I thought I shivered me timbers quickly.... no contest !! Love your pirate LO! :lmao:

I've been waiting for a good pirate kit to scrap this pic. My son is a little odd sometimes! :rotfl:

Wen - I didn't shadow them. They are contoured enough that I didn't think they needed it.

FRAN! This LO is adorable! Speedy scrappers man! Wow!

Well yours look great Britt, so I'll leave mine unshadowed.

Awesome Fran! What a funny pic, lol.

I have a problem, I want to start scrapping but I want to use it ALL. I'm overwhelmed with pirate-y goodness (badness?!). My plan to do two pages has expanded to four. At this rate my vacation pics will outnumber the whole rest of the album!

Wen - I have this same problem. I have SOOOO many Disneyland pics, that I feel like I could scrap them non-stop and never finish and never scrap any other events in my life!

I have found creating double pagers helps. And also just scrapping what feels inspiring at the moment and not stressing about trying to "get it done". Although, getting a trip done does feel amazing. Hmph. Such a dilemma!
:sad2:

Love the LOs Susan! Cute little Mickey tucked in there.

OH GIRLS! Big news. I set us up a Flickr group so we can have somewhere to post ALL our LOs together!!!!!!!!

PLEASE come join: http://www.flickr.com/groups/disneydigiscrappers

This is a place to post our LOs just about Disney. I still want to post them here of course. But you can now link us to the flickr LO for credits and now we can have all our LOs gathered in one pool!!!

I'm so excited to start this little gallery. Come fill it up!! Make sure to post as much credits as you have. I know some of you don't have credits recorded or can't find them. As long as you do your best, that will do.

xoxo,

Britt

Wow -- you guys have been busy today!

Susan -- I LOVE that POR layout. I love the boat ride to DTD, too! You really captured the fun and relaxation of the ride with your photos. I love how you used the map and all of your little details. What a great layout!

Christy -- So, you did that LO with SBC+ and Britt's template? I have to try that and compare it to the experience I had using that template in PSE! I wish I had timed myself, but I didn't. I just know it was a painful process for me (not because of Britt's template, but because of PSE's lack of user-friendliness!) Your LO looks awesome!

All of the pirate pages are awesome! Fran, your son is a hoot! That is something my little pirate would do!

Britt -- I can't wait to check out the Flickr group -- that is soo cool!

Love the boat ride LO Susan, looks so nice and peaceful... wonderful way to get so many pics in! I'm staying at POR next trip, maybe I'll have to steal your ideas!

Hi Jessica -- I did use SBC+... First time I ever used it with a template. Jennifer's (Disney Baby) instructions a couple posts back were helpful. Basically I just added each .png file/layer to the page one at a time... Then I clicked on each element and "filled selected shape" with the papers from the kit. It was pretty easy, but for some reason once I had all of the layers on there it sucked up almost all of my memory and I was getting some error messages.... Which doesn't usually happen. So I didn't bring in the shadows or anything -- just added those myself in SBC+. Now that I kind of know what I am doing, I think it will be quick next time.

Susan -- That's such a pretty peaceful looking LO. Wish I was there right now. i really like that rusty alpha too...

BriarRose -- Ohhhh -- I love that page. My best friend and I went to Hollywood last year and saw Wicked..... Brings back awesome memories!!!

I LOVE WICKED!! Great page BriarRose. My husband and I went to see it on our trip to Toronto a couple years ago and just happened to be staying in the same hotel as Shoshana Bean. After the show, back at the hotel, we saw her waiting for and elevator and ran as fast as we could to meet her but she got in and went up and that was that.
