I just purchased some digital scrapbooking stuff from Glenda Ketcham. Can anyone tell me how to use the alphabets on The Most Wonderful Place on Earth: Mouse Scraps? Sorry, I'm kind of new to this!

Thanks :)

How does everyone store all these digital goodies? My laptop is filling up fast! I just got an external hard drive for stuff, I just can't decide what to keep where. Any suggestions?

I have downloaded more kits then i will probably ever use. I had to add memory to my laptop as the Adobe was running so slow. I did move everything to my external HD but i kept all my stuff that i could use towards Disney pages?(which is what i am working on right now. I do periodically go through all my Digital stuff and delete stuff that i won't use. i have no other system in place. I have tried to organize my stuff into themes, ie Christmas stuff, easter, summer, winter, disney, baby stuff, etc.

I don't have that kit. Are the letters each their own file or are they one one big sheet? I know with the individual letters, you just drop them on the layout like a picture or any other element. If they are on one sheet, I think you just have to crop out the letter you want, but I haven't tried to use a set like that yet! I'm just guessing! (like with a lot of this digital stuff, I'm just making it up as I go!)

Yep, I haven't figured the one sheet alphas out yet either, also the sheet of embellishments. That is a tutorial we need. I have pretty much given up on the one sheet alphas and don't even download them anymore.

Oh, the one sheets are easy -- just open them up, and use the crop tool to single out whatever letter you want, and then just copy and paste as normal~ thats it!!! Easy as pie!! ;)

For a sheet of alphas/embellies, you simply crop out the letter/piece you want to use. Copy and paste it into your page and then uncrop the sheet to get the next letter, rinse and repeat.

I love that block template, I've used it too for a Disney page... lemme see if I can scramble it up... I made it eons ago and it got printed in my shutterfly book. Looks fab! Click for credits.

Lately I've been making my own papers and learning elements. I'm not planning to become a designer, but I like to learn new things.

Thank you!!! I will try it when I go home :)

LOL I hear ya, why do you think i am scrappin' so hard?! :lmao: I have Nov.2007 to, then Dec 07/jan 08 new years cruise (which i am doing now) and a trip Feb.'08 to Disney California!!! And we are going back for a quick long weekend WDW trip next mo. and then again for our "regular" Thanksgiving trip in November.. LOL Wow... just typing that makes me realize i have issues..... :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Great pages everybody!

You all have inspired me to start my '08 book. Here's the title page and the first two pages from the journey down. I'm still trying to finalize them. I have to keep looking at them to make sure I am happy before I print. Thank goodness I'm digi-scrapping now... it's sure easier to make modifications! (In fact, as I'm previewing this post, I see my photos on the title page don't line up right. LOL!)

Everyone keep up the beautiful work!

Caitsmama -- I love how you got so many pictures on the key West LO and I like the fish and palm tree stamps -- too cute!

Susan -- I love your title page with the itinerary blocks at the bottom. I may have to steal that idea for my next Disney book! I also like that you included the shirt color of the day! Cute idea!

Susan, GREAT lo's!!! They are so bright and FUN!! Keep posting and inspiring! :)

Caitsmama, I love how you got so many pictures on the page and yet it doesn't look busy at all. Too cool... may have to scraplift that very idea for my upcoming cruise stop in Key West.

Susan, I love your title page. You might like to try using stitching between the pictures too... just an idea. Like you said... with digiscrapping it's easy to try something and ditch it if you don't like it.

Hypermommy - thanks! I actually was gonna post credits last night, but i was so tired, i went to bed..

The template is from Rach. Giallongo (from It's all in the Details collection), and my cardstock is all from tilliefare. The stamps are Katie P @ Designer Digitals.

Thanks y'all.

Keep posting those layouts everyone. I really enjoy looking at them.

Have a great day!
