Thanks for your help - I post on scrapbook dot com and it works similarly. Maybe it is the number of posts.

Thanks again!

OK, here it is, the title page for my first all Digital Disney album, made in CM Storybook Creator Plus software, using one of their pre-designed pages from the Primary line (since it seemed to fit so well), with some embellishments from "the Happiest Kit on Earth" by Britt-ish designs!!! I am getting SO excited for my all weekend crop this weekend!!! Here's the layout!

I bought my first true 12x12 CM album a couple of weeks ago and it's soooo nice. I love being able to have a home for my layouts now.

Oh, those are so great! I'm soooo there!!! Thanks. :worship:

Okay... I'm back now. I've spent the last several minutes downloading tons of templates. Woo hooo!!!!!!

If only I could figure out how to USE the templates I have downloaded...Oh well, I'll figure it out at some point! I'm having enough fun downloading them and using other stuff for now!

Ok dokie, here it is.. my first page in a lONG time!! I did a simple template page, but i am happy with it, and hopefully it will get the creative juices flowin'. ;)This was of our Disney Cruise this past december/jan. My dd is the one with the jean/pink skirt on, the other two are my niece and nephew.

Oooh, I like it! Where did you get all the goodies from like the stitching, the stars, and the stamp? Or did you make them all yourself? :worship: I'm not that good yet!

I am not using Storybook + like you, but i use PSE 5 and i am finding the templates and quickpages i have no clue how to use them. I have read some tutorials on them but i still cannot get my photos to take on the shape or size of the templates. if anyone has suggestion i am stuck....

really love this page. Any links where you got this from? Are they easy to use, i am using PSE 5

Sometimes this stuff can be a little tricky. I'm not the best explainer either, but I'll try. Open up PSE and open up your template and papers and things you're going to use. (I'll stress this is how I do it. There is probably a much better way.) I minimize all my stuff so I have a clean work space, then I make a new 12x12 document to be my new LO. I drag the template up from the bottom bin onto my 12x12. Looking to your right you should be able to see all of the layers of the template that are now on your 12x12. Start easy by picking something big like the large background layer. Pull your "piece of paper" you want for your background layer onto your LO. Looking to your right, your paper needs to be laying directly on top of what you are trying to cover up, in this case the main background. Once it's into position you hit Control G to make it the same size and shape as what it is directly over in the layers pallette area. Now with our example being the main background paper it's probably still going to look the same at 12x12, but this method works for every part of the template. If there's a piece of ribbon on the template, grab the "paper" that you want your ribbon to be, place it over the ribbon on the main page where you're working and hit Control G.

Clear as mud, right?! HTH at least a little.

I love templates and use them frequently, especially when in a hurry and not being creative. Or I want a different style from my own. Anyway... I use the template itself and work in that. Save it in a new name before you make any changes, in case you want to use it again another day.

I use PSP, but I use the magic wand feature on each layer, sometimes inverting it, depending on the object and then put my paper or picture or whatever over the shape and delete the extra... with the delete key. Most major scrap sites should have a tut for template usage.
