So fortunately we live in south Florida and go often. Rides and attractions are always fun but lately not a priority for us. We just love staying in our DVC resort and lately enjoying doing differe things.
we have:
rented a pontoon boat
done keys to the kingdom tour
done Wild Africa Trek
Cirque
Halloween and Christmas parties
Gotten a haircut on Main Street

going next month and looking for some different things to do. Suggestions appreciated
Have looked at the Sleigh Ride but no availability

Renting the Pontoon boat from the Contemporary was so much fun.
It’s almost as easy as driving a car but you’re in a boat on the water.
We used the speakers on boat to play YoHoYoHo A pirates life for me . So relaxing as the sun was setting.

Are you looking for ideas on property only?

Yes want to stay on property we have a car but like staying on property

Do you like to read? If so, bring your book and travel via any mode of transportation to any resort. Walk around and find a quit spot to read a few chapters. Rinse and repeat to a new resort.

I did this pre-Covid when my DW got the stomach flu and was laid up in the villa the entire week. It was the best 6 hours I can remember. Found lots of nice little reading nooks, finished my book, and got to see a lot of the resorts.

I'm guessing you have APs if you go often and are from Florida? If so, do you have the Water Parks & Sports add-on? For $99 it will give you the water parks, mini-golf (before 4 pm), Oak Trail golf including foot golf for the duration of your AP with no black-out dates.

Behind the Seeds Tour at The Land. Before covid we went to a private lunch with an animal expert over at Sanaa. We dined while the expert told us all about giraffe's. It was unique and we enjoyed it.

We enjoy spending the day at Ft. W - visit the stables, get QS at P&J's, rent kayaks and/or canoes, go fishing, rent bikes, gem mining. You can also do the archery experience, but would need to book ahead of time.

I know some of the resorts (AKL) offered culinary tours but they are not available at this time .And also some of them offered Resort Tours (Wildernesss Lodge) but current Tours can be scheduled with a DVC guide . I would love to see inside the Bungalows or the Cabins .

Currently I am checking out some of the Bars on property. I don’t drink alcohol but I enjoy the experience of the decor and usually the bartenders enjoy talking if not busy. This includes the pool bars too.
I hope to remeber to go to Jock Lindsey’s in Disney Springs to order their special holiday cookie tray!
If you want to spend big money and like tequila : La Cava de Tequila currently has reservations for their tequila spirits taste testing class.

We did the Caring for Giants (elephant) tour at AK and loved it! It was really interesting to go backstage of AK and learning about the elephants. Highly recommend!! They also have Up Close With Rhinos which I hear is great too.

We've done both--elephants and rhinos--and both are terrific. In fact, I've done the elephants tour twice.

Another suggestion: ride the Skyliner, just for the fun of it. We do this every trip.

Also the boat from POFQ to/from DS is excellent.

Reading
Water Park all day
Drinking by the pool
Golf, and if you're not a golfer, then mini golf, and if you're not a mini golfer, then Mario golf.
AMC Theater

There used to be car racing (Richard Petty Driving Experience) but it was stopped due to an accident. We never got to experience it. You could always sign up for Scuba experience at Epcot I suppose.

My father and husband really enjoyed doing this way back in the late 90's. The entire thing is now gone as it was turned into more parking for the MK.

This thread is reminding me of all the great non-park things there are to do at WDW!! I'm making a list for our next trip!!

If it comes back, Aqua Seas Tour was fun. You don't have to be a certified diver for that one. Mini Golf, or 9 holes walking Oak Trail. Just riding the Monorail or Skyliner and checking out Resorts and getting a bite to eat or drink.

Are the Epcot culinary experiences available and where would I find those.
Thanks

It doesn't look like anyone has mentioned renting surrey bikes. You can do this at the crescent lake resorts, but also at other resorts (I'm just not sure which ones specifically!)

travel via any mode of transportation to any resort. Walk around and find a quit spot to read a few chapters. Rinse and repeat to a new resort.
While not reading we hopped on the Skyliner from Epcot went to Riviera, had some coffee and chilled in their lobby for a bit (the outside facing towards the Skyliner) was already occupied but that would be a good spot (reading would have been good to do there too). I kinda wish we had done that a second time. It gave a nice little break from the hubbub of the parks and I liked how quiet it felt over at Riviera.

So piggy backing on your comment maybe take the various transportation options and walk around, maybe grab a coffee at one or a small snack and just take it all in. Don't shop for merchandise though if you've already done so much of that by way of many trips in the past but just view it as exploring parts of the property with little in mind to do. I would think that would be a prime way of finding nooks and crannies not yet experienced and finding out what spots are worth seeking out again. pretty much like you describe about reading for a bit then packing up onto the next location.

We love looking for Hidden Mickeys in the resorts, Disney Springs and in the parks. There are several good books to help you find them. The one with the yellow cover is our favorite but the one that they used to sell in the gift show has pictures which serve as answers if you can’t find any of them. Our favorites are at AKL but we’ve found good ones all over. People in the parks snd CMs especially love to help out once they see what we’re doing!
