Did Vero have any damage?

I have not seen any confirmed damage reports on Vero yet. Does anyone know if DVB had any damage?

There is nothing official yet, except a news report of minor damage that was visible from the roadway.

My guess would be the walkway to the beach would be gone or severly damaged. The main structures are probably pretty intact. Even if there were no damage at all (which is, of course, unlikely) the resort could not re-open until basic utilities are restored and the roadways cleared and deemed safe for travel.

I just got off the phone with MS. I called to book a VWL or BCV stay, and at the end I asked if she knew how VB did through the storm and about the 9-10 reopening. She said that they have not finished the damage assement yet. They may finish today. That 9/10 date may or may not happen. I was supposed to check in on the 12th, but I switched it to a cash stay at HHI and used my points for a SSR stay this december.
