I just got back from BCV and loved every minute, but DH and I were commenting on how a split bathroom would have made a world of difference in our studio!!!

As I was researching studio layouts for the next visit, I realized I may have had a handicapped accessible room, but didn't realize it at the time.

We also noted the lack of counter space in the bathroom (pedestal sink) and the poor countertop planning in the kitchenette.

When I found the 360 pictures on the member website, I saw pictures of all the improvements we would have made (split bath, counter space, etc.)

We were in room 425. What type of room did we have? Do I need to make a special request for one of the better equipped rooms next time?

If you had a roll-in shower then it definitely was handicapped accessible.

We had one during our first stay at OKW and it was fine for us.

I'm pretty sure that at BCV, all the rooms ending in -25 (and also -28, I think) are handicapped accessible.

Thanks for the info . . . I guess next time I'll have to specifically ask NOT to get a handicapped accessible room, huh?

I guess you live and you learn . . . not that it was a horrible room . . . the view of Illuminations was a nice treat!!!
