I'm probably the only one but I did like "Stop Go". A little cheesy but way better than Jordis's. I can't wait to see Marty do "Hit Me Baby One More Time"!

Remember tonight is the night......

Ok, I've had a renewed interest in INXS....after listening to XM Satellite ALL INXS radio station non-stop all weekend I can't see a gal taking over as lead singer....not saying I don't like the gals, but I can't see the band's front person as a gal............and as much as I like Marty, I'm not sure its the spot for him..........hmmmmmmmm....guess I'll just wait and see what happens.

Just an FYI for anyone interested in Michael Hutchence, his mom and sister wrote a book about his life, and it is online that you can read it...pretty interesting the son/brother/father/man vs. the rockstar persona.

My review of tonight's performances:

Definately everyone was challenged. This was a very interesting show.

Jordis - Seemed uncomfortable with the song. Again, not one of her better performances.

Jessica - Didn't like it, nothing else I can say.

Ty - One of my favorite songs, but not tonight.

Suzie - I was impressed. One of her better performances.

Marty - I can't believe he pulled that song off!!! Not really sure if that was the direction the band was looking for him to go though.

Deanna - One of the better performances tonight.

JD - Good performance if you had your eyes closed, but watching him it just didn't feel right.

Mig - He got a good review from the band, but I didn't think it was his best performance. He seemed a little shaky at times.

Marty still gets my vote.

I liked Mig and Marty, the rest of them blah.............JD is his own worst enemy.........he just grates on my nerves...

I loved Jordis again! and I think the band did too.
Marty was awesome again, and I loved Mig. They are still my top three.
JD can go anytime.........like others have said he is his own worst enemy, and quite frankly I am tired of the ego ride he seems he is on, Jessica, never have warmed to her, so I hope one or the other goes tomorrow, hopefully both!

I voted for Mig 3x and Deanna 1x. I thought Ty and Jessica were weakest tonight.

I'm listening to Marty again right now (www.rockstar.msn.com) and I think I'm going to have to give him a vote too.

Marty had a tough song and I think he did it well. I still like him the most. I thought Mig did have the best performance tonight. Didn't like Ty, he is a good singer and performer, but not for INXS. Think JD would be better at arranging music instead of performing it. Jordis has a good voice but I am starting to get bored with her. Now I only like two and that is Marty and Mig.

Jessica - I thought she was boring...it's like she's too scared to take risks. Plus I really hate that song...I think she could have done amazingly well if she had sung the slow version acapella.

Ty - It was ok but I'm still getting the theater vibe from him

Suzie - Just ok - I don't think her stage presence is powerful enough to carry a band.

Marty - Well I loved his rendition but it seemed pretty similar to a few of his other performances. I'd like to see him do something different next time.

Deanna - This is one of my favorite songs and I think she pulled it off. I did find her low-cut top was distracting...I kept thinking she was past the age to pull off going bra-less!

JD - What was he mumbling about at the beginning of the show? All I kept hearing was JD Fortune this and JD Fortune that. He's starting to show how limited his style is and I didn't really enjoy his performance. He looked like he was about to go balistic at any moment and was struggling to contain himself.

Mig - I liked his performance a lot - I think he really showcased his voice.

I think Jessica is going home and if JD lands in the bottom 3 I think there might be another double elimination.

Well....I thought Jessica was pretty good tonight. I see a lot of potential in her. She has the talent, but doesn't know exactly what to do with it. I think her more toned down style was very becoming. If she had someone to "groom" her image, she could make it big.

I was also impressed with Susie.

What Marty did with that song was pretty amazing, though he seemed to have some trouble hitting the high notes. One thing that concerns me about him is (even though I loved his variation of the song) he made into his style of song and still didn't show much range. That might come back to hurt him. I do think he had the most difficult song. Whether or not INXS picks him, he is a rockstar!

Mig - I do like him, almost as much as Marty. I didn't love the performance as much as Dave and the band, though. Maybe it was one of those performances where you have to be there to really feel it.

J.D. buh bye! I'm not sure why he is still here. He is super talented, but is just creepy and high maintenance. Don't see him as part of a group and he needs to go.

Jordis - I liked it, but it wasn't really her style. Even so, her "not her best performance" is still far superior to some of the other's best performances.

Deanna - Ready to see her go.

Ty - not much of a fan anymore. He has a nice voice but I don't care for him on stage. Can't put my finger on it...

My favorites tonight-

1-Mig- Loved it. I didn't know he had that in him, I really enjoyed his performance!

2-Marty- Was awesome! I can't believe what he did to the Britney song, man I saved it for DH, he's gonna love that.

3-Suzie- I loved her performance, very pretty.



Boring-

Deanna- Wasn't feeling it.

Jessica- Best Tuesday performance so far but not as good as her Wed night ones.

Jordis- Just didn't do it for me, at all.


The rest-

Ty- I like him but I thought tonight was just an over all bad performance.

JD- The hat? The whispering? Man, if this guy sung 1/2 as well as he thinks he can then it might've been good.

Better late than never...here's my thoughts

Jordis- Although I thought she started off a tad shaky, I thought she did a marvelous job as always. She has such a strong and powerful voice that it's hard to find fault in it!

Jessica- Again...didn't like it at all. While it showed off some of her more vocal assets, I still think she is hanging on by a thread. I wasn't overly impressed with her singing tonight and really think her time is coming to a close.

Ty- One of my favorites and I loved how he worked his "personal" side into this song. He made it his own and while I had to warm up to it, I truly enjoyed it! I know at the end of the show they showed him in the bottom 3, but I voted for him a few times already..hehe.

Suzie- You know..she hasn't always been one of the singers I enjoyed watching/listening to, but I thought she did really great tonight. Between last weeks performance and this week's, I think she is really coming into her own. I'd like to see her NOT get in the bottom 3 this week and keep her confidence going.

Marty- I was amazed! When I saw what song he got, even I was afraid for him! I mean how do you turn such a pop song into what he did?! It was AWESOME! By far the best version of "Hit Me Baby One More Time" I ever heard! Definitely tossed more than several votes his way this week. Go Marty!

Deanna- With her lower singing type voice, I thought this song was a perfect choice for her. I didn't think she did a fabulous job, but I think it was a good challenge for her, it showcased her talents and thought she did pretty decent. I'm not a huge fan of hers, but I think she did the best she could with this song.

JD- BLEAH! At first, I thought he had what it took, he does have a great voice and an awesome stage presence, but INXS asked for him to sing from his heart and I don't think he did at all. You could clearly see he was still working the crowd and I just thought it was an overall boring performance.

MiG- Where to start? I had tears in my eyes with every note he sang. It was the most heartfelt, honest and raw song I've seen on the show yet (with Jordis "The Man Who Sold The World" running a tight second) I had goosebumps and really wished he could just sing all night. I truly hope he has the encore tomorrow night as he deserves it. When Dave said it made him think of how much he loved his wife and MiG started getting emotional, I had tears streaming down my face. A truly awe inspiring performance and I will continue to vote for him all day long.

I totally agree! Although, I must say that when Jordis sang "Knockin' on Heaven's Door", I didn't even recognize the song! Where was the original melody? I voted twice, once for Mig and once for Marty! What's with that black streak in Susie's hair? Can't wait for tonight's show!!!

Mig was awesome! I also was very touched by his performance. I think his voice sounded shaky because he had SO much passion and raw emotion going. I agree with the band -- it was the best performance on the show to date. I think he'll definitely get the encore. He still remains my #1 pick!

Marty was great, although he looked a little possessed at times trying to go for those high notes, lol!

I also voted for Jessica, because I actually thought she did well tonight. It was the first time I have voted for her.

Ty just does not do it for me. I know the band was blown away and a lot of people like him, but something about him I just don't care for. He's not right for INXS.

Susie was awesome once again! If any female gets the job I think she would be a perfect fit. Her vocals are stunning and her image just seems to "fit" with INXS.

Jordis, Deanna and JD were so-so. Not votes from me tonight. The song Deanna performed is probably my all-time favorite, but her voice just doesn't do it justice.
