Did anyone watch Rock Star: INXS last night?

I reaad somewhere they are planning on a Rockstar 2 using Stone Temple Pilots. Is that true? If so too bad Marty didn't sign up for that one- he'd be perfect!

Oh wow! I hope that's true. I would love to see the audition process too - hopefully they'll include that in the next season.

I haven't seen any mention that last night Suzie messed up the STP song she did. She started to come in at the wrong place, not once, but twice. She tried to cover it up by telling the audience "c'mon, c'mon" (which I think she said about twenty times during the song).

I too thought she was terrible last night. I couldn't believe the band gave her such great praise on such a horrible performance. On the STP song....she came in wrong twice as you said. And on the second song she couldn't hit the higher notes.....she squeeked once!

I did not feel good at all last night, and fell asleep before MiG's performance....so I cannot judge on that one. I do see either him or Suzie going home.

Although I don't care for JD or Marty ~ I thought they both had exceptional performances last night! Marty did very well with Creep.

Brooke may as well not even wore a skirt last night. Her private business was nearly exposed!

Tonight is the last elimination show ~ what will I do with myself now that Rockstar is coming to an end.

I do think this is about the best outfit Brooke Burke has wore.....although the skirt is almost just a belt!! I guess I am just jealous as I don't have a figure like that!!

I too think Dave & Suzie are having a *secret affair*!!

I think this was just before JD kissed Dave!!

Another great show last night and can't wait for tonight's show. I have to go to my DSs' open house night though, so the teachers had better not bo too long-winded, or I'll be sneaking out the back door! I really hope they do another season of Rock Star. My DH was suggesting that they could have The Doors. I was trying to think what other bands they could invite...Stone Temple Pilots would be interesting...

The Doors have been back together for about three years now. They have Ian Astbury (from The Cult) singing. Originally they had the three remaining members, but then John Densmore had some sort of medical condition, and then they got Stuart Copeland from The Police, and he broke his hand before the first tour. Not sure who plays drums now.

Anyways, the were being sued by Densmore and Jim/Pam's families about using the Doors name. I think they have to go by "The Doors of the 21st Century" now.

I read where there have been other bands approaching Mark Burnett about doing another ROCKSTAR show helping them find a new singer but no mention of WHAT bands............................my choice:

Suzie did another good job but she didn't wow me. On the other hand, JD was awesome! He made that song his own. I didn't like Mig's vocals - it was too screechy - but his stage presence was great.

My prediction: Mig is going home in the next 2 minutes. Or they won't send anyone home this week. Or maybe it will be Suzie. I can't decide!

Mig looked funny when he tore open his shirt all I could think about when he did that was good old Hulk Hogan and the WWE wrestling LOL.

I hope INXS watches the tape of Mig's performance because I think he's weak vocally.

All I can say is I hope MiG doesn't get this gig. To me, all he seems to be doing is appealing to the female crowd - that silly tearing of the shirt thing during his awful "What You Need" made me laugh out loud.

...Then again, maybe I'm just bitter that Suzie's gone...

All I can say for next week is "go Marty!"

Well, I thought it was gonna be Mig, but I am not the least bit surprised in who went home, knew it would happen, just thought it would be next week.

Ha, ha, I just went back to an old post in July where I predicted the final five. I was a little off to say the least! I still think Neal and Heather should have stayed longer than they did.

Well that sucks that Suzie is gone hopefully Marty will go next show. Mig is good for comic relief and JD is the man for the band IMHO.

I, for one, am relieved that it was Suzie who went home. I grew to like her a little as the show went on, but not enough for me to want to see her heading their band INXS.

How many here thought the crowd would have turned into an angry mob if they would have let JD go tonight?

It's funny how we each hear music, personally I thought JD did a lousey job with his INXS song and Susie was so so, I enjoyed seeing Mig finally perform an INXS song and thought he did great......will he win, probably not, I just hope it is not JD, I think he says things that he thinks people want to hear, I just do not think he is sincere. Can't feel sorry for anyone of the last 4 since no matter what I think they will all have bright futures.

I predict it will be JD as the man in the band I wish it was Marty gone but alas he isn't yet next time hopefully. The guy just irritates me from what I have seen in the last couple shows I have watched he has the charisma of a wet noodle.

Marty is the best overall. That being said I think they will go with JD just because he looks more and sounds more like Michael. But Marty is the best one in the whole competition.
