Did anyone watch Rock Star: INXS last night?

I wish it was Marty gone but alas he isn't yet next time hopefully. The guy just irritates me from what I have seen in the last couple shows I have watched he has the charisma of a wet noodle.

Charles you should download a couple of Marty's performances or I think you can even watch them on msn.com. You're not seeing the true Marty if you've only seen him this past week.

Frankly, I was a little bored hearing Trees and Pretty Vegas again. I like the songs but come on. Maybe my passionate dislike for JD blurs everything.

JD had his Elvis persona on tonight when he sang. I thought MiG did a great job but I get the feeling INXS isn't going to pick him. If it isn't MiG, it better be Marty.

IMHO, when JD's on stage he looks like he's in withdrawals. I can't stand all the hand and finger shaking. He's worse than Celine and Mariah That being said, if they can tone the shakes down and take a bit of the Elvis impersonator edge off his voice and movements, he probably is the best fit for the band.

I know Mig has his fans and I've tried really hard to like him, but his voice is just too high. There isn't enough range there and I honestly feel like I'm listening to a musical when he sings. Maybe those tight pants are to blame...
Physically, though, I think he'd look good in front of the band.

Marty is the best singer up there, but I see him in something much bigger than INXS. Someone (sorry can't remember who to give the credit to right now) said they don't think INXS wants to change. I agree, and IMHO this will not last very long if they don't. They won't make it with songs like the one they debuted a few weeks ago, and I'd be just sick seeing Marty singing junk like that. Maybe he and Dave can team up

Well, as much as I dislike JD's personality, I think he has the most talent for developing new songs. I love his Pretty Vegas song - has a great hook.

Marty's song - Trees, I could take it or leave it. Every time I see him perform he reminds me of Kurt Cobain - too much of a Nirvana sound/look/style to him.

I like Mig but I agree with whoever posted that he reminds them of watching some kind of musical theater. But then he doesn't need to sing I'd be happy if he just stood around with his shirt off in his tight leather pants.

I hated to see Suzy go but I knew she wouldn't be right for "Our Band INXS".

I did and I still didn't like any of them. As somone here mentioned he sounds and acts to much like Kobain and I hated Nirvana with a passion which could explain why I dislike Marty after only seeing him perform 2 times and listening to his terible ideas about changing INXS.

Mig looks so much like one of my old boyfriends that I laugh whenever I see him. He sure did deliver last night tho. Wow! I like JD's talent and Marty too. I am glad I am not in the position to choose. I was sorry when Suzy left. She has amazing talent.

Mig was winded.... he did too much running around and half the time I couldn't hear his vocals..... Did you see the look on Farriss' face when Mig ripped his shirt? He kind of smirked... I don't think he was impressed.

I prefer Marty.... guess we'll have to wait and see!

I tried closing my eyes last night when JD was singing and I swear he's not only an Elvis impersonator, he's a Michael Hutchence impersonator too -- I can imagine him practicing for hours to old INXS tapes.

To me, Marty just doesn't have a voice. I liked Mig at first, but his charm is waning ... well, not his *charm*, but his voice. It's just not quite right. He did great finally being able to do an INXS song -- but I like to watch him even more than listen to him.

I really never expected our band INXS to choose a woman to front them. Her performance last night wasn't as good as she has been in the past, IMO.

All this being said .... I think they're going to go with JD. Just a gut feeling

I think they're going to go with JD because they have no interest in changing. I hope it's not because he's blowing smoke up their butts. JD just strikes me as immature and phony. My friend the JD fan thinks he's got the rock star attitude that every rock star has. Well yeah but you need to earn the attitude before you exhibit it the way he has.

oh and the crotch slapping he does is driving me nuts!

That's funny because I did think of that. I was thinking if Marty won, would he turn it down and rather be out on his own doing his thing and his ideas.

I'm so bummed that they booted Suzie last night. I'm rooting for either Mig or Marty now. I can't stand to listen to JD. If they pick him...I can promise that I won't even think about buying the new album.

Whenever I see JD, I see slime. He practically drips it. The women in the front row that he drips his slime on seem to look uncomfortable. They tend to give a polite grin, then roll their eyes at their friends.

Marty, on the other hand, doen't cater to only the women. He just does his thing and does it well. Go, Marty!!

Well I fell the good Canadian boy JD is going to bring it home next week and I can't wait. He exudes the INXS vibe unlike either of the other 2 left. Mig sings and I just picture show tunes for some reason and Marty seems like a Nirvana wannabe and I can't stand Nirvana on a good day. They all have talent but JD just fits the INXS theme and sound unlike the other 2 mind you I would have loved to see them go out on a limb and choose Suzie.

I've been saying for weeks to hubby that when J.D. sings he looks like he's doing his Elvis impersonation - even sounds like it and I hate it - almost like he's talking the words instead of singing.

After listening to what INXS has said the last couple of weeks I think they are going to pick J.D...............

I think they think Mig is too "theatrical" ............................

I think Marty would do better as a solo act....................

My choice would be Mig - I think he fits with the band and he's also Australian.

I'm really like JD or Mig. JD is my first choice, then Mig. Don't like Marty, to me he doesnt sing very well...or have the INXS vibe. Suzie was good but i just couldnt see her heading the band up. I also loved JDs Vegas song, and i wasnt to fond of Martys song Trees.

...I personally can't stand JD [I think he's too full of himself] but I think he is probably the best one for the 'gig'....I, too, think Mig is 'too theatrical', but I think he is VERY talented. My personal fave is Marty...can't wait till next week, when the others come back for the bid finale...... !

I totally agree, although I don't care if JD's from Canada or Timbuktu! I've had him pegged since the first episode, but he had to go and make a horse's... rear... out of himself. Anyway, I think all of the finalists have it made, whether they make the band or not.
