Diamond Horseshoe

I know it's only been a couple of days since they opened for the special dining dates but has anyone had dinner at Diamond Horseshoe? We are booked there on 9/25 so just curious about the food/service?

Just booked it--no longer any type of show they told me; carved turkey and beef, down home cooking kind of food. Kind of reminded me of Liberty Tree Tavern menu.

I heard on here and then confirmed with a CM on the dining line that it's the exact same food as Liberty Tree Tavern.

We ate there. It is exactly the same food as LTT (which we ate at as well). My DD was thrilled since she loves the beef and green beans. My youngest loves the mac n cheese so she was happy. They all love the dessert. I wasn't crazy about eating there when we had already done LTT but I couldn't get a ressie anywhere else (realized at the last minute that we had on more TS meal to book). I will say that our waiter was BETTER than the one at LTT. The LTT waiter messed up our drink order and was a little scatterbrained. However he loved teasing my oldest and was fun..just not the best waiter. Our waiter at DH was very attentive and bent over backwards to make our meal enjoyable. Very good waiter.
I will let you know there are no bathrooms at DH, you have to outside and use the public ones that are right around the corner.

It is one of the two restaurants that they opened on select dates to accommodate the large number of diners on the Dining Plan. The other one they opened is the Tomorrowland Noodle Terrace.

What/Where is the Diamond Horseshoe?

In Frontierland. In the past they had a cancan show there. It really hasn't been opened in many years. WDW is opening it during free dining to have an extra restaurant.
