The first thing we tried out at GKTW was the Dino-Putt mini-golf. Wow! That was fun! We laughed so hard. We screamed at some of the surprises the dinosaurs had in store for us. We watched Chantae's hair beads glow in the cave.
We stopped in the arcade and played for a little while, but everyone was eager to keep exploring. We quickly checked out the trains and the remote control boats.
Next we rode the carousel twice and grabbed dinner at the Gingerbread House. It is such a cheerful, fun-filled place!
The new pool had just opened and was definitely a highlight for the children! They could have spent a lot more time there if time had allowed. I can't seem to find the pictures I took there. I think maybe they are on Nidra's camera. If I find them, I will post them.
There was disagreement among the troops about whether to stay in the pool or head over to the Life-Sized Candyland game. I pulled rank and we were off to the game! I think in the end everyone was happy with the decision! On the way to catch the train to the playground, we met the cookie and lemonade man and got some treats.
The kids all enjoyed playing on the playground while we waited for the game to start. Once the game started, Deyki becamse super competeitive and was determined to beat his sisters! He started out behind them, but RAN from space to space winning by a margin in the end! They all got a handful of lollipops for playing. He had his first Snow Cone there - and his second, third, and fourth!!! He was pumped full of sugar and loving every second of it!
The Gingerbread Man and Mayor Clayton joined the fun as parents and children danced in the street. Nidra really enjoyed the dancing and the limbo! She looked at the full moon and told me, "Wow, Mom! You hardly let us stay up when the moon is up and here we are dancing in the street under the moon and eating all kinds of sugar!"
The train drove us back to the villa after the party, and we all went right to bed. I had planned to get back to the playground and get pictures and let them play, but the options were too plentiful and we never made it. If I find anymore pics on Nidra's camera, I will post them here.
