i am so excited that the autograph books arrived, my son loved seeing the pics as he helped choose the character pics. thanks again for sharing your beautiful kids with us
Yeah! Everyone got there things from me...I am the non sewer of the group, but I try to snag goodies from the store! I saw that stitch and just knew Nidra would like him! Chantae was easy too...a princess girl. I had to be a little more creative for Deyki! I knew I could find the Goofy plush, but I had to have my stock room mgr hunt down the shirt for me (Thanks Megan!) At least I had some Spiderman things for him!
I sent the crayon things, for something to do on the plane...I should have sent one for you too...Me and a girlfriend that came with us on the last trip actually coloredon the plane...we amused the flight attendents and horrified my 15 yr old son... which was fun!
Gladyou like your bag and mug! And as parents, I agree, we have certain priviledges!
The pictures of the kids are just beautiful! You are a special person to do everything you do!
Also "WOW" to all the beautiful work from the the seamtresses from the Big Give...they did (and do) some wonderful things!

Glad everyone is enjoying the pictures! I have a few more to get to - Michelle in her Tink outfit, and Deyki and Nidra in what the received yesterday.
We had one problem while I was distracted with the excitement of preparing for our trip. The babies got into my contact lenses. My glasses are very old, hardly good to see out of, and plain unattractive! I have an appointment at 2 today with the mother of one of my Cubbies who just happens to be an eye doctor. My prescription is not usually one they have in stock, but she said she will do all she can to get me new contacts before our trip. I hope it works!

Those are glow in the dark beads in her hair that we bought especially for Disney. One of the things on my list to do before we leave is finish braiding and beading her hair. The bigger job is putting a weave in Nidra's hair. That can take 4-8 hours! Hopefully I will get a strong start on it today.
You can see glimpses of our backyard behind her. We are so blessed to have a great big yard even in the city!
Today we drop the toddlers off with respite families. I will miss them, but maybe it will give me the chance to actually finish everything on our to do list, including posting the rest of the pictures. The list seems to be growing rapidly!
One major change is happening while we are on our trip. DCFS is screening Michelle into foster care. Up until now it has been a voluntary placement, but since the changes needed to safely return her home have not happened, they are making it official. The good news is, her worker stopped by yesterday to assure me that they would not move her from my home. She said she wanted to be sure I knew that before we left for our trip, so there would not be any part of me worried about her while we are gone.
Had to share that good news with you all! Now I am off to cancel the mail, pick up meds, drop off the toddlers, drop of Awana supplies for next week, and do the girls' hair. Oh, and I have been inspired by the ladies on the Big Give and am trying my hand at sewing for my daughter for the first time ever! I will post a pic of what I made once I finish it! Thanks for the inspiration!
