Destination D23 2025 Aug 29-31, 2025 at Coronado Springs

Yeah. I'm assuming it's the Halloween Party, with attendees getting first dibs and then maybe the rest for D23 members. Assuming that they just did't put details because nothing is announced about MNSSHP.

For the 30th, you mean the thing at Typhoon Lagoon? I was confused cause I thought you meant a MNSSHP on the 30th, but Disney hasn't announced any info on 2025 yet right?
I thought 2025 dates were out. The thread looks updated, but maybe I’m mistaken.

Went back and read more carefully. Reading comprehension error on my part.

Someone posted that the August 29th (Friday) is usually just shopping? So I shouldn't plan anything for that day but I may end up with free time that day? Seems like a good day to hit Disney Springs or the Boardwalk or anything else that doesn't involve a ticket. :)

I'm making a week of it since I'm a West-Coaster, so I booked the Coronado from Monday - Monday.
I also already booked the After-Hours events for Hollywood Studios (Wed 8/27) and EPCOT (Thurs).

Also a reminder the conference links has discounted park tickets if needed for anyone... wasn't any cheaper for the after-hours events, but looks like a decent discount on the multiday tickets..

Yes, Friday is just shopping. You get to pick your slot of time to do it when the RSP opens. It's nowhere near as much stuff as the Expo. It's smaller, we've usually been done in about an hour looking through everything. Definitely free time on Friday until the spooky surprise event

If Test Track has reopened, I'm thinking I'll do the Epcot after hours on Thursday, too. Heck, even if it hasn't, I might anyway. The parks are too hot for me in the summer but I can manage late evening park time.

My tentative thinking:
Wed - fly out from SoCal
Thurs - "work" from Orlando, attend Epcot after hours (or try for A Goofy Movie)
Fri - shopping, check out the Disney Springs stuff, TBD (MNSSHP?)
Sat - conference, Typhoon Lagoon
Sun - conference
Mon - fly home

There is a DVC DHS Moonlight Magic on Monday night and I SO wish I could stay for that, but my son starts school on Tuesday, so should probably be a good mom and have him show up. 🤣

I like your plan. Especially the “work” part. I might “work” as well. lol.

I’m told Uber will pick up kids and take them to school. (Kidding. Mostly.)

Any idea what the special surprise, I think for Friday, is? If it’s MNSSHP, then they need to announce something before tickets go on sale Thursday.

I was thinking the same thing. The MNSSHP ticket sale dates are May 15th (for guests staying at select WDW resorts) and May 22nd (for all other guests).

This was put on the D23 site today:

https://d23.com/d23-event/mickeys-not-so-scary-halloween-party-during-destination-d23-weekend/

It gives May 22nd as the on-sale date, but why would those staying on-property wait a week to buy? Unless there is an incentive to buy through the D23 site on May 22nd, like discounted tickets.

I can’t tell. I guess I’ll go for the 15th and then the 22nd if I can’t get them the first day.

That's what I'll do since there's nothing that gives a reason for waiting. The D23 link is probably jus to guarantee spots for D23 members that weekend.

Missed out on D23 tickets so figured I'd grab the shopping ticket today to see what they have Day 2. Pretty easy to purchase but a little nervous about what to expect. I was 700th in line, and all the slots were still available as soon as I got in (including the first slot on Saturday). They're an hour each, so IDK if most folks in front of me were bots that got bumped or there's gonna be a heckuva lot of people shopping 😅

Went ahead and bought my MNSSHP for 8/29 with no hassles just now (mid-morning). Figured there was no point in waiting til 8/22.. maybe they'll offer a $10 discount but not worth the hassle, especially if the D23 aspect somehow causes a run on tickets.

I contacted D23 and was told there would be no discount or anything special by booking through the D23 link on 8/22. The link is just to "facilitate the process" for the Destination D23 attendees. So I bought our tickets as well

If you bought MNSSHP tickets for 8/29 through the early hotel guest link, before Friday, verify that they are in your account. Just spent about an hour on the phone getting mine fixed. They never showed up in my account. When I tried to link them, it said they were already linked. IT said they showed as expired, even though that’s not possible. They eventually transferred me to ticketing to reissue them.

Wow. Mine seem fine, just checked the tickets section on the app

Any idea when more specific information will be released regarding the Destination D23 schedule? I never received information about the MNSSHP tickets so wondering if I missed something else! (We have tix to Destination D23). Thanks!

I haven’t seen anything else yet. The MNSSHP tickets went on sale after the onsite hotel guest date. So didn’t miss much.
