One thing that always helped me is to go ahead and book the next trip if you can. Planning is always helpful. Of course, you can plan even if you don't have a trip booked. I love to research restaurants.

We also went to the Rainforest Cafe for a meal once and it was a little like being back there for a while.

OP, what a great story, continued health and happiness to your family. I still don't thin kthere is anything wrong with everyday people feeling a little let down after big events in their life. Crying, not getting out of bed, that sort of thing no, but looking forward to having a new thing to start planning for and looking forward, I don't see a problem with that. For me, I get home and it'sthe first of December, I start looing forward to and planning forChristmas. Especially all the baking, I love that! Then after the holidays I plan a huge Me and My Guy dance for several hundred Girl Scouts and their "speical guys." Once that is over I start planning for an Easter Egg Hunt with 100s of GS again, then there is X, Y and Z. There is always something fun and exciting to look forward to, but none are quite the same as the excitement of planning a Disney vacation. Just my opinion. Sure. life is fun and all, but we wouldn't al be on here if we didn't like the thinking, planning and dreaming of a Disney vacation.

Booking and then putting a ticker in you signature helps. I keep the two trips in my signature because I feel blue every winter (for a few reasons) and looking forward to the sunny warm spring lightens my mood.
