Deed question - multiple contracts

So we closed back in May, 2 contracts direct for BLT. We *just* received the processed deed about a week ago. However, it's only for one of the contracts. Is this normal? Should I inquire about the other?

If you closed back in May, then your BLT deeds should be on file with the Orange County Comptroller. If you want to confirm that your deeds are recorded with OCC, sign on to its website at https://officialrecords.occompt.com/recorder/eagleweb/docSearch.jsp

When you get to the search page, enter Disney in the Grantor Field and enter your name in the Grantee Field. If you have a common name, you can limit the search results by putting in a range of dates in the Recording Date Start and End Fields.

The search should come back with both of your deeds. To view the deeds or to download them as PDFs, click on "Add to My Images" for each deed (the field is to the far right on each record); then, click on "Download My Images", which appears on the left hand margin of the screen. The records should then appear on your screen.

I had something similar happen with our BLT purchase. We did 4 contracts and received only 3 at one time. It might have been close to 2 months later before the 4th deed arrived. It did arrive without my calling about it.

First, I suggest you sign on to the DVCmember website and access your account. Under "My Membership", click on "Vacation Points." It will show you your contracts under your membership number. Both contracts should appear under your number.

If one of your contracts is missing, then you need to call Member Services and talk to Accounting.

If you have problems accessing your online account, Member Services can help with that as well.

Thanks for all the responses. The points have always been in my account. Miraculously, the other contract showed up on the county website

Good to hear its finally resolved in your favor!

The OCC system is quite accurate, but its not foolproof. dizfan and I have been tracking deeds over about a year and we always run into the odd contract that has been mislabeled on the system.
