Decorating your resort room?

What isle are the the window clings in at the Dollar Tree? I have gone there a couple times and have never seen them.

At my Dollar Tree they are up in the front near the seasonal items. Sometimes they are in a box along the bottom of the shelves. We aren't going until October, but I am already thinking about a Halloween theme!:goodvibes

Does anyone know if the Poly has metal doors? I just made some paper Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Goofy, Donald and Daisy heads but I think I'm going to try to take them somewhere to laminate them - then I will put on the sticky magnetic stuff one of the other earlier posters used and put them on the doors. Then, if they make it till the end of the week I can still use them in my scrapbooking.

The holiday ones are with the holiday stuff, I have found wall clings in various parts of store and I 've used them with tape. I found Mickey ones and Tink ones last year. Check out Walmart in the craft section !! Try Target too!! It's just a case of keeping looking other than hOLIDAY ONES !!

Does anyone know if I can use a little bit of glitter on the ground?

We are going to Disney next week and 4 of my daughter college friends are going with us. I have "Tinkerbell" gifts for each of them for each day and lots of window decorations I made. I wanted to use a little gitter on the floor after Tinkerbell visits. I was wondering if I can use glitter on the ground outside our room. Do you know if it would be a problem?

I'd say it depends. If your door is in the inside of the building, I wouldn't do it because that stuff is hard to clean out of carpet. If it's on the outside of the building, it shouldn't be a problem, because it can be just swept up, ya know?

Yes, the doors are metal! I used those rolled up magnets with the adhesive on the back and placed them all around. The Mickey head was laminated and it did take a good many magnets to keep it up. We practiced on the refrigerator until we had the right amount! Good luck!!

I love looking at all the creative decorations. It looks like so much fun. In all of my trips, though, I've never noticed any doors being decorated.
We're staying at the WL in December. Are you allowed to decorate here? Are the doors metal?

Thanks.

We decorated our window at POP for Christmas this past December. I absolutely loved looking at all the window decorations. It was fun!

Does anyone have any pictures of how they decorated?

Oops sorry, ignore this one. Someone had already posted it. I'm just asking questions as I read and just found where someone asked this question.

Hahahaha... Like a stealth team.

"ok you talk to the boy at the counter and keep him turned away.... You get the attention of the guy that next to the paint chips with confusion on "gloss or flat". Once I hear see the GO sign I'll then obtain the Mickey Greens.... Ready... Break!" :grouphug:

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Hi all. Here are a couple pics I took at Pop. There were about 20 or 30 rooms that I saw decorated in variations of these two pics. I have no idea how they got that way but I assume it was a group, I doubt the PC people painted them. I also saw a couple of "birthday" windows/doors and a graduation one but did not have my camera. Go out there and have fun! (I had originally brought my Mickey Heads to decorate but found the window shown so I left it)

I am supposed to go back next month for a weekend, and if I see any decorations, I will take more pics!

What kind of marker/paint would you use to do something like this that could be easily removed??
