Decorating your resort room?

Where did you get the clip art. This card is fab-u-lous! I luv it!

Thank you so much!:goodvibes

Here is where I got the clipart.

I don't have photo shop so it was a little harder to do. I resized them with Microsoft paint and posted them to Microsoft word until I got lined up like I wanted. Then I copied and pasted that picture to Paint and saved it. Then I used the Jasc Paint Shop Photo Album program that came with my computer. That's where I got the pretty border around the clipart. One of these days I'm going to get one of those cool graphics programs. :)

has anyone done a Star wars window? We are going for Star Wars Weekends in June and I'd like to try decorating the window.

We are taking our FIRST family trip this September during value season! Yeah! I'd love to decorate our door...we are staying at the Beach Club. Do they allow it there?? Thanks so much for all these great ideas! I want to make this trip magical for my family!:yay:

Welcome to the Dis! Sorry I don't know about Beach Club ,but I'm sure you'll get an answer here!!:grouphug:

We stayed at the beach club and decorated our door and also i put some window clings on the window and mirrors. our room was ok but many of the rooms have trees blocking the view so that was the reason for doing the inside of the room. i had a few to sign my door and when we left we took the mickey heads off our door that were not signed and stuck one on each persons door and wrote on them to have a disney day...hope this helps:hippie:

This is the window I decorated for our most recent trip to WDW for my son's birthday. I think we were the only ones in the resort that had a decorated window. I, too, "stole" Mickey heads from Home Depot. A friend of mine made the sports clipart, and some generous disers made the other smaller clipart. I also bought Disney stickers at Michael's craft store. The plush characters are from the Disney store, with the exception of the Goofy. (that was included in a gift basket I ordered.) I'm sorry that the other clipart is so small. Hope you like it!

Yes! I admit it! I'm a lurker! I have really enjoyed reading everyone's posts! You all seem like such a friendly (if slightly crazy...but hey, I'm crazy too!) bunch! I'm going on my maiden voyage in seach of LGMHs this week! I plan to decorate our stroller so hopefully I'll get to meet some of you wonderful dis'ers out in The World!

Your window looks fabulous!:thumbsup2

Thank you very much, Linda!:goodvibes I had Christmas lights that I was going to hang as well, but I was too lazy to bother doing it. I regret it now, because I think it would have looked cute. Oh well...when we go next year, I'm going to decorate the window again for our 15th anniversary! Can't wait! I'll put the lights up then, for sure!:thumbsup2

I was at the party store today planning for DD's first birthday. I spotted four foot tall princess cutouts that I thought would be perfect for a resort door. I think they were about $4, I'm not sure if they were paper or plastic (Like garbage bags) but I thought they would look really cool on a door somewhere. Has anyone ever bought these? What would you use to attach them to the door?

Wow! There are some super ideas on here. The hamster in my head is already running on that dusty wheel. :rotfl2: I will be there Nov. 28 - Dec 6 and will post some pics of our windows when I return. We have already purchased a small tree and some ornaments but who knows what else I will add now.

This window is at POFQ? I just looked at your resort dates. I wondered what the windows looked like there. We're going in December and have never stayed there before. Do you have any other pictures of your stay at POFQ?

I went to POFQ the last two years. I know you are going to LOVE it!:thumbsup2 Small resort and quiet, for the most part. The grounds are lovely and it's a short walk to the food court, pool, and gift shop. Unfortunately, I don't have many pics of the resort itself, and I don't have any from inside the room. I do have these from last year:

The rooms themselves are spacious for a moderate. I like that there is a divider curtain between the bed area and the sinks.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help to you. Have fun on your trip!

Thank you Linda...and my family thanks you!:goodvibes

I know you will have a good time. Those 8 months will go by before you know it!:thumbsup2
