Decorating your resort room?

definately do christmas lights!!! you can usually find some little cheapo plastic ornaments too that you can put in th window!

have you called disney to find out if that can be done.?

if so, please let us know.
i would be glad to leave my decorations as long as the employees wouldn't throw them away.

These are some great ideas. We are going in a few weeks for my sisters birthday and I would love to decorate the room for her. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to decorate your own string lights? I would like something disneyish but so far can only find disney lights for Halloween or Christmas. Any ideas would be great!!!

Yesterday when I was in Walgreens I noticed they had alot of different Disney items, window clings, and pillows. Maybe you could find something there.

Disney won't know what hit them. All these festive people. I will definatly be decorating our room. It will seem like Christmas everyday there. But it kind of is. I have been a Disney nut my whole life. We had to share Mcdonalds and never went out to eat when I was young. One small present at Christmas. But my parents took me to Disney in Jr High & High school many times. Never got to stay in the park though. I am just a big kid now and want to Decorate and Celebrate the fun at Disney

Hi there~!! i did call and yes this CAN be done, ONLY if it:

1>is all in one box or bag
2> Has a designated person it is going to next.

Which means we would need some kind of train going on. If there is enough interest, this could work out really well. I could start it on October 6th when i check out if there is someone staying longer than that or someone coming in after that date that i just have to put the FIRST and LAST name on it and then they get it. Then that person would have to do the same.

I should start a new thread since there will need to be POP people doing this. Anyone out there need a room decorating kit after October 6th at POP??

do a sign up so things can be passed around to the next in waiting.

i would hate for my stuff to be thrown out by the cms if no one claimed the box. its a shame a name has to be written on the package for it to be passed on. i would love to pass on my stuff i decorate with.

As it gets closer to Halloween, start checking Wal Mart for Window Clings, etc. I got my Disney Halloween Clings, as well as a Mickey Head light up Pumpkin from Wal Mart (the window clings were just last year!)

hi all! how is it going?? There are some great ideas flyin around!!

Just wanted to let TigerCherr2009 that as far as i know the Mods do have metal doors, it's been a bit over a yr since we've stayed at POFQ and CSR, but i think they do!! and it's been waaay to long since we've been to a Deluxe so i don't remember at all, sorry!!!

Unless theyve replaced all the MOD doors - theyre all metal. We used to put our magnet souveneirs on them (on the inside)

I am going to try to post a picture of the poster I made for our door and a t shirt I made for my DD's 3rd birthday. Hopefully, it'll work..if not I'll try again!

I've never done it before and it's a tad fuzzy. The faces are much cuter than they appear on the picture! Maybe I can resize it?
