So was that being "cutesy" or did it sum up the variety?

1. It is rude for members to tell you it is tacky to post your daughters drawings, when all you were doing is asking.
2. the comments I am seeing about it being a deluxe hotel, tacky etc, like it is somehow superior to value hotels,, and only people at value hotels do that, is alot more offensive, rude and tacky than saying the resonses are like a mixed bag of nuts. When you have a mixed bag of nuts, it is not saying the people are nuts, it is saying that the responses are a variety of responses.

I think you, the orginal poster are being very gracious. And I am just a little surprised at how tacky some of the posters responses are, to a simple question, can I post my daughters picture on the doors. We will be going to AKL in a few weeks, and I would much rather be next to a door with a sweet Micky picture drawn by a child, than a normal door, with a neighbor behind it who somehow thinks it is ok, to be so rude.

You have to be kidding. This is not just tacky, it's destructive. You have no right to trash a beautiful resort. You folks should try the HoJo in Kissimee, it would be a better fit style-wise.

Wow OP, I asked the same question a few months ago and lucked out. I only got one response that nicely basically said, "the doors are already beautiful, they don't need any more decorations."

I think it's great your child is being creative and wants to share that! Have a fantastic vacation. We'll be at AKL for free dining in September. If I see a little girl handing out Mickey Heads to cm's, I'll stop by!! lol

I dont understand why you would decorate a door anyway, you're never going to see it other than for about 30 seconds a day. Why not decorate the mirrors or something IN the room? At least you could see it on a daily basis.

What does understanding it have to do with anything? Lots of people like to do things while on vacation that others do not understand. I don't understand why a family would want to where matching shirts,,, I don't post on the design forum saying that.

Decorating an area tastefully with the permission of the hotel isn't defacing property. Destroying someone's property intentionally is.
