I know that this might be a long shot, but I was just wondering, if I was looking to rent a reservation at SSR or OKW, in December, I'm thinking probalby the 10th through the 17th or so (but highly flexible on dates) is this something that is possible to get? And if so, how much would I be looking at?

Well, that would depend on what size unit you were wanting and which resort it ended up being at. Points are different for different resorts. Of course the real answer is probably you will have to wait until next year, since I donj't think there is anything available for this year.

We are were thinking about a studio at either SSR or OKW. I figure the chances are very slim that we would be able to do it this year, it looks like there isn't much chance of that. We are planning on going anyways, it's a special gift for my daughter to let her know how proud of her we are,and since we are considering buying in, we thought it might be nice to stay at DVC personally and see how we like it before we buy in. If we can't get a reservation we will most likely stay at SOG.

While there probably isn't anything available through member points, you might be able to secure a CRO ressie at one of them yet. CRO inventory should still be there.

You'll need to find a reservation that is not being used. Post your request and see if someone has one to rent you.

Last month I tried to change my 1 bedroom ressie to a studio for December 5 to 14 at OKW, nothing was available...I kept the one bedroom. Did not go on waitlist, as it wasn't that important...I just wanted to save points to book a 2 bedroom with friends next June, but got 2 studios instead
